This is a pretty pricey activity for only 1 hour at CC ($160 for a double). Is it worth it? What exactly is a personal watercraft? A jetski? Is this a very low-speed, laid back trip (in other words, is my DS14 going to kill me for signing him up?)

It's a waverunner .. your DS14 cannot ride one alone, nor can he drive (the adult he rides with will have to drive) ... we did it back in Nov 2004, DH on one by himself and DD14 hanging on for dear life with me  ... it's can be fairly fast (you can NOT pass the lead tour guide) or as slow as you want (the follow-up tour guide will hand back with you) ... it was fun, and DH is all gung-ho to do it again when we're on CC on Sept 2nd of this year

This was our one disappointment from the 12/18 10 day cruise. Our excursion on CC was cancelled. We hope to do it on a future cruise!

We just did this last week. It was well worth the money. I rode double with my husband. We froze, but would definately do it again. They take your group out in a line and stop twice and give you great info about the island. Take your waterproof camera. I got great shots.

My husband has done it twice...he just loves it! The first time was right after DCL started offering it, so he was the only one on the tour. The second time, it was completely full. It's not really high speed like RCCL's version, but he says it is a lot of fun.
