OK I give up.. I've been looking for these and can not find them.. Disers say they have gotten them at WalleyWorld but I cannot find them in ours..Could the ones that they bought be from last year? Didn't want to pay an arm and leg for them..There was a website that someone gave but I think they were about $7.99--too much..Anybody have any other suggestions as to where these can be bought.. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

They do sell the fan/misters in the parks-in fact I know you can get one at Animal Kingdom because we have one...however, becasue it has a mouse on it, you will pay and arm and a leg to get it.
I got one before a trip at WalMart, and I think I paid like 5 dollars for it. It works the same as the others you can buy in the parks, but it was alot cheaper.

Mitzi, our Wal-Mart has them in the fan section. Did you look there? I also think I saw them at the Dollar Tree, but I'm not sure how well they are made.
We looked and looked last summer and couldn't find them any where either. We ended up buying one in Epcot for $15. Now that we have one we found them for $5 or so at Wal-mart.

CVS has smaller ones that I like better- the fan disconnects from the mister itself.

They were $6 I think with their summer stuff

Let me tell you I scoured two Walmart's looking for the very same fan mister....then I finally found one and it was $5, it was in the hardware section next to the big fans....and there were only a few left (this was a super walmart) I would have thought maybe the sporting goods dept...but no hardware....?!...My Mother who's going with us next week kept telling me I was nut's, I'm sure it'll be the best $5 I've spent getting ready...or at least a close second to the $5 I spent on the Brita water bottle. BTW everytime she looks hot and wants a spray from my handy fan....I'll say what are you nuts? and then I'll follow that up with that'll be 25 cents please.

i love those personal misters too,,,you fill them with ice water, then pump them up and you can spritz a really fine icey mist,,,,really cools you off!!! it doesnt have a fan though,,i think its called a misty mate,,,also at walmart about $10...

do a lot of folks really have the fans in the summer at WDW? i got a walmart one for each of my friends kids for $1 at the end of last year,,,will she think im nuts if i give them to her kids before she goes? or greateful when she goes to purchase one at WDW and its $15 for one,,,,??? what do you guys think"? :earboy2:

I'll tell you what billwendy, I wouldn't call you nuts if I was given one especially when going to the parks in July and August which I will be in July.. I'll keep looking for these.. I check our super walleyworld every couple of days and I work near it..I've checked every aisle that is near and around the fan aisle or the sporting goods and the hardware aisle.. So far nothing.. They do have a mister but you connect it to a hose.. Imagine that somone carrying around the park a water hose. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Oh well I have a couple more months yet..

I saw the small one and the larger one recently. I wondered if they were any good. For the price you quoted, you must have got the little one.

melanie,

the one i got is blue with a black hose...not too tiny,,,the water lasts a pretty long time cause it sprays sooooo fine,,,it really feels cooling if you put ice water in it!!! kept the kids happy for hours!!! even the 1 yo loved it,,,

I just got mine from Academy in the camping section. I think it was between $10-$15. It had the big cap on it to put in ice cubes.

My wife got a large one (~24oz) and a small one (~8oz) at Walmart last June, and they worked great. Just remember to take some extra batteries, because Disney is not a cheap place to buy batteries, or the mist bottles.

They were in the Walgreens ad this week for $4.99. Also Target has them in their "summer section" usually by the front of the store, but the opening for the water wasn't big enough for ice cubes. They were about $5 and have just been marked down another $30.

I purchased them again this year at walmart, they were back by the sporting goods and fan area. Then I saw some at linens and things this weekend. They were slightly higher then walmart but fancier. They are 5 dollars at walmart and 7 at linen and things. Sorry - I could not find them online - get the ones big enough to put ice in the base opening. Ice water is FREE everywhere in disney and the ice makes it super nice.

Hi from Ontario Canada. I just picked one up at Walmart for my DD12 for baseball. Here we payed $9.00. Tried it out today.Works great, and it also has a spout to drink water out of, a removable fan too. I will be filling it with ice water for those hot games. Just got an idea, taking it out on those hot fishing trips at the cottage too.

Just bought mine this week-end on the Memorial Day sale at Walmart - $4.99. Also saw them at Walgreen's for $6.99. I had to ask where they were in both stores. The Walmart ones were on a special display out in the middle of an aisle in a large wire bin. Good luck!

The brand we have is Sqeeze Breeze - I got them at Walgreens this time but a few years ago at Target. Walgreens had them with the summer stuff (water bottles and coolers) Target had them with the sunscreen. Good luck - I hope you find them. I wouldn't go without them in the summer! :cool1: :sunny:
