We are visiting HRH and the parks in July (8-12). What might we expect with regards to upgrades and perks as All Access card holders? Is there a chance of getting a room upgrade?
 
I'm interested in this also, we're scheduled to arrive about 2 weeks after your trip, and my all assess envelope arrived yesterday :3dglasses
 
you can view all the perks online at their website.

thinking off of the top of my head is the room upgrade.
book standard garden view, upgrade to pool view if room is available at your check in.

priority seating at HRC.
show your AA card to the person at the podium.
you have priority over the other 2 hotel guests.

discount off of merch at the rock store. 10%


i know there is something else but can't think of it at this moment.

the All Access card expires sept 30 this year.
a new program will start up after that.

i haven't received an email from them yet on what the new program will be.
i know my points won't carry over to the new one.
 

We just stayed at The HRH Jun 7th thru the 10th
We told them we were celebrating our 25th anniversary, which we are, and they upgraded us to club level, which was awesome!
They also gave us the All Access Card with check in,
it does say that you can get upgraded, when available
Early check in and late check out when available
Access to the gym
first available preferred seating
10% off food and merchandise


We just love this resort and that's why we continue to go back time and time again :)
 
I have heard you also get free in room interent....anyone know if this is true?

Mac - new cards soon? You know when that goes into effect and when we can get them?

i have no idea and wish i knew when the new cards would be sent out!

right now i have money on my card and i don't think it will transfer to the new program.
have to decide if i want to go to the city/chgo, and go to HRC and spend it.

i need to send them a letter.
i did receive two emails and it explained about changing my pw and something else.
i thought the email said those with the All Access card now would be brought into the new program without us having to do a new app.

the last email i received from them stated info would be forth coming regarding the new program that starts in the fall and that the present one terminates 9/30.

i'll post in the forums once i send off an inquiry and receive a reply from hrc.

guess that answers my question, we'll be factored in automatically...
 
Thanks, all. This is a celebration of an anniversary for us, too, with another family. Checking in on a Sunday and hoping that they will have availability for an upgrade. We'll see...

Can't wait to check out the new Potter attractions and sing karaoke at Rising Star...oh, and of course, lay in a cabana for the day.... Paradise! :beach:
 
Just stayed at HRH from June 15 to 17 and got upgraded from garden view to pool view with the All Access pass. We didn't care much for the pool view as we were on second floor and it was very noisy. Quick access to the walkway to the parks tho.

For the question from the pp, we did get free Internet access which made the pass worth the price Imo.
 
Noise all night, just till ... when? from the pool, from the halls. Can you please elaborate?
 
Noise thru the window from the pool area. They have pool games starting around 1 pm or so with loud music and then the movie at night until 11 pm. Also we were right over the shuffle board area so had to keep our curtains closed during the day.
 
From what I can tell, they are not taking new applicants for this?

i have not heard that.

the website is still open to apply for the AA.
new membership is still valid to get.

it discontinues 9/30 and a new program begins 10/1.
present AA members would be transferred over to the new one.
 
I was reading in The All Access Forum that a new program will be introduced on July 1st 2012
 
guess that if you do the application, you will be signing up for the next new program.

like i said, just a guess.
 
Subbing to this thread. Thinking about heading down in a few weeks and I have around $30 on my AA card. Since the program is ending and our closest HRC is in Atlanta I need to use the cash or lose it. Is there any way to know ahead of time if you'll receive an upgrade or is it luck of draw upon arrival? Also regarding late check out, s it guaranteed and also what time would you have to be out?

since you are going in a few weeks and not after the september, use the credits on your aa card at hrc in city walk.

upgrade will depend on room availability when you check in.
