Perhaps the circus will end: Lebron James now ineligible

I, for one, don't care what the arrogant, egotistical kid does.

I found his behavior to be rude and unacceptable.

I think we all know that with basketball, you have to play while you can. We know about knee injuries, etc.

I believe this is a case of too much, too soon.

If his parents had a better hold on all the things he would be exposed to, maybe they could have handled this situation better.
Or, better yet, he would have never accepted those jerseys.

Did anyone offer the other kids on his team a jersey?

Since when is there an "I" in team?

JMHO.....

I have no problem whatsoever with players going pro straight out of high school.

An able body is something that is always fleeting. There have been tons of kids with promising futures in the pros & then have a career ending injury, playing for free & making whatever university thousands of dollars. When that happens, they're basically up a creek without a paddle.

Once you're 18, you're regarded as an adult & I don't think forcing someone through 4 years of mollycoddling is going to make that much of a difference in an individual's personal life. The NBA is a business & while they can do what they can to look after their players, they're not in the parenting business. Players that have spent the 4 years in college make bad life decisions too.

I agree 100%. Why should he; or any other player; be used to make money for colleges and coaches? He has the talent to play in the NBA now, he should go for it.

I only hope someone is able to put him on the right track.

There's a thread about Jennifer Lopez and how she spends her money. Most posters agree that she made the money so it's up to HER how she spends it. Why should it be any different for Lebron.

Doctor P, what money did Lebron and his mother steal?

I'm sure his mom is loving the ruling. Now she can pay off that Hummer loan a few months quicker.:D Money and offers will be flying in for that kid.

I agree with what Tinkbell posted above.I think the sooner he gets away from his mother, the better off he will be.

Also when he was playing with his "remote controlled hummer", right on the court during warm ups of the JV game, thats when I said this is a "circus"! I could't believe not 1 adult or coach, principal, etc told him to STOP!So after that escapade, I don't feel sorry for him or his teamates(who could have told himto stop also).
Hopefully OHSSA will stick by there ruling, and he is "DONE" for his senior yr.
