Perfume??

I get bad migraines so I can't wear anything too strong, floral, or woodsy. I love vanilla based scents, but not too vanialla smelling.

When I met DH I always wore Hypnose by Lancome. The ONLY Lancome scent that isn't heavy IMO.

Then I started wearing Laura Mercier Tarte au Citron which I loooove. I wore that for a few years. When it came time for the wedding I bought a bottle of Hypnose and wore that to remind us back to when we first started dating. I switch between the 2 scents, but I still wanted to smell like me. And since I tie the scnet back to the wedding, it also makes me happy everyday when I smell it

My DF got me a gift set for Christmas...he says it reminds him of Wedding Cake!

I'm wearing Laila which I buy in the Norway Pavilion on every trip! I LOVE it!! The first time I walked into that shop (when I was old enough to buy my own stuff!) I fell in love with the smell.

It's light and flowery and not heavy at all.

Plus I think the EPCOT association is great already without the wedding being at WDW being added in!

Okay, now there's two for Laila, you and Lurkyloo. Now I'm going to have to stop in Norway and smell it!!

I think I'm going to browse some perfumes when I'm there for planning session... I like the idea of wearing a special perfume and it being from WDW.

Lynn, Princess is awesome! I love it! I wear the little crown from the bottle as a ring some times

Thanks soo much for all your input ladies! I'm headed to the mall this weekend to find perfume! Hopefully I will get lucky and find something quickly! It always takes me forever to find the ONE! I figure I will bring DF with me and figure out which ones both of us like and then pick my favorite! Oh another trip to the mall to find wedding stuff! Gotta love it!


BTW... I have less than 4 months left! YAY!!!!!!

I think I will just be wearing my regular "special occassion" perfume. "Beauty" by Kate Spade. It is very classic and reminds me of a perfume my mom used to wear.

ooh - you know, the stuff I used was Lolia, which I got at Anthropologie (and on eBay!).

I'm not a huge fan of Norway's Laila on me, but I'll bet it smells GREAT on Lorelei!

I forgot to put any on, lol. I was slightly bummed when I headed to the car and thought of that but then I figured it was better not to be overwhelmed with any smells since i'm prone to headaches

I wore Inspire by Lolia. I kinda just bought it cuz the bottle is so cool and it didn't smell like most perfumes. I definitely wanted a unique scent, and now it reminds me of our wedding whenever I smell it. (Of course, it kinda smells like Bounce fabric softener to me, so it also reminds me of laundry every time I smell it! )

i went to Anthropologies today looking for this but only found "Flowers"..smelled good, but not as pretty a bottle!

I'm going to wear Colonia by Aqua di Parma on the wedding day. I bought Profumo by AdP from Italy in Epcot and it always reminds me of our trips, and I also loved the Colonia. Profumo is too heavy so Colonia it is!

You should go into like, Sephora or something and just smell everything and if you have a certain scent you enjoy, describe it to someone and they should be able to give you something along those lines.

Wow. Now I feel the need to start wearing perfume. And I definitely want to pick out a scent specifically for the wedding.
Scent is definitely a memory trigger. One year I got my mom some lotion from B&BW and she wore it when we went to WDW the next month. We ended up stocking up on bottles of that stuff when they discontinued the scent because it reminded us of being at Disney.
This weekend I will have to hit up Epcot, seeing as the only time I have been in the perfume shop in France was for work to look at burned out lightbulbs Although it sounds like I should check out Italy for the best selection. I've smelled the Norway one and I'm not a huge fan. I like fruity scents best.

I wandered over here from LurkyLoo's TR, and I just wanted to chime in. I wore Cashmere Mist from Donna Karan. I wore it on the day of, and by mistake it was the only perfume I took with me on my honeymoon. I wore it everywhere that week, and I've worn it every year on our anniversary. I am always reminded of my wedding and a week in Cancun when I smell it!
