Just read the list of prohibited items. Does anyone else find it odd that the only glass items allowed are baby food jars and perfume bottles ? The last thing me and my sinuses need is somebody bathing in perfume in the parks. Would anyone seriously carry perfume all day?

That's exactly what I said to DH when I read it! Who would want to take a bottle of perfume into a park??

:rotfl:

I couldn't agree more! I am very, very, very allergic to perfumes/colognes and various scents.

When I'm in line behind them and can't stop sneezing (or for some, I have to excuse myself because it makes me nauseous), they are surprised to learn that people are actually sensitive to perfumes/colognes.

I guess for those of us who suffer, we just have to put the word out :teacher: .

Is this a new list? Could you please tell me where you found it? TIA

Well they sell them all over the place so.... If you are really allergic there is not much they are going to do...

(I can't even stand to stay in that store in Norway. I have NO idea how those kids work there. I am not allergic but that place is just OVERWHELMING with the smell..)

Why carry it into the park with you after you've already bathed in it for your morning shower?!?

Allergy sufferers of the world unite!

Well from the other end of the spectrum...

I am one of those people that carries a little bottle of perfume in my purse at all times. I'd rather smell like flowers than like BO on a hot sticky summer day. But that's just me.

Oh and I should add that I am an asthmatic and a horrible allergy sufferer also... Seasons, animals and scented candles though... perfumes, smoke, etc. don't seem to bother me.

Are you talking about the TSA list for flying on airplanes or has Disney started a list of prohibited items?

It's a Disney list. It's referenced on the first page of the forums.

I use soap and deoderant to counter BO - perfumes and colognes don't prevent or cover BO - they just add to the stink! I was driving to the store the other day with my front windows down. As we turned into the parking lot a guy driving a pickup with his window down was pulling out and his cologne was so strong my 3 year old in the back of the van said "what's that horrible smell?". The only time people should be able to smell your perfume is as a gentle sent wafting in your wake as you walk by very closely. If they can smell it on you when you are standing still 5 feet away - you are wearing too much. Go ahead and wear it for your own enjoyment, but don't subject everyone else to it.
