Performance week during Spring Break?

My daughter will be performing with her dance group during Spring Break. Is it true that Disneyland invites multitudes of groups during the same time? I'm just trying to predict crowds. I wish we didn't have to go during Spring Break - I'd rather pull my kids out of school and go during the low season, but how many times will my girl have to opportunity to say she danced in Disneyland?
