Allow me to review the Perfectly Princess Tea for you.
In a nutshell: worth. Every. Dime. Yes, all $300+ dollars.
Why? Because your child gets a front row seat to a very intimate and interactive event which is not crowded, there is no wait time. No lines. There is AC! Food is provided. And the gifts keep coming! Not to mention one on one time with Aurora! And another "princess" Rose Petal.
There were maybe 6 other girls at the princess tea today. We were greeted by name and seated in the gorgeous tea room at the grand Floridian. The lighting at 1030 am was bad from certain angles for pictures (back lit), so I actually
Moved to sit across the table from my daughter so Aurora could sit next to her and I could easily take pics Aurora was an absolute dream come true and spent a lot of time with my daughter, much more than at a character meal. I would actually recommend skipping two character meals and doing this event, if you want to economize. It's just a million times better in my opinion.
The girls get a doll, a good amount of food (turkey sandwiches and pb and j sandwiches and fruit and a huge slice of cake!) moms and dads get a hefty plate which could work for lunch or brunch in my opinion, the girls will also get a bracelet, really nice Aurora crown and magic wand AND. Drawstring back pack and stickers and scrapbook page AND individual photos with their doll (mom or dad, get in a few!) also a group photo with Aurora -all via photo pass. Easy and ample opportunity to take pics during tea (except
Lighting is hard to get perfect pics ) but it's too bad photo pass isn't on hand during tea for the price. However, all in all this is a darling and priceless event. I was really hesitant to do it but it was worth every single penny. HIGHLY recommend! my daughter is turning four in one month and I feel she was the perfect age. I would personally not being a child younger than nearly 4; and I think any age above would enjoy it.

I am happy to hear it! My daughter and I are doing this next month. I was a bit hesitant because it is so expensive but it's her fifth birthday present.
You will not regret it! Five year old will be a perfect age! I hope you enjoy it and have a great trip!

I have always wanted to do this with my daughter, but never did. Now we are thinking of going next June, shortly before she turns 10. Anyone know if older girls, 9 year olds, go and enjoy it? She's recently started saying she wants an American Girl doll, even put it on the Christmas list she just started, so I think she would like it. I just wouldn't want her to feel awkward being 'old' for it.

Hmm....would be great if you knew others going with girls the same age? Then they could go together. I don't think 9 is too old but, everyone in our group was under 6 years old...

Wonderful! We did this in 2013 on DD 5th birthday trip. She ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. She still plays with the Aurora doll. It was a great experience for our family, me, DH, DGM & DD. Memories!

We did it several years ago (maybe 2008?) when DD was around 7. It was fantastic, though our tea was much more crowded. She felt pampered and special. We loved it so much, we do a mother-daughter afternoon tea about every other trip now - no Aurora but sweet memories from the Tea Room!

Thanks for your report. We have never done this before and I have it booked for our Dec trip. Hoping my princess fanatic will enjoy it as much as yours did!

Thank you for the feedback on this experience!
Has anyone ever taken a boy (age 3-9, so a Disney child) or an infant (under 36 months)? I'm curious about the prince package. I don't suppose the plush bear is a Duffy? The prince package seems a bit thin in value compared to the princess one. Can an infant attend for ~free, eat off of my plate, or do they have to do the "upgrade" mentioned, even if we don't want the gift package for our toddler?
"Each young prince who attends will receive a princely sword and shield, a souvenir pin, a plush Disney bear and a 'Best Friend' certificate."
"Infants (up to 3 years of age) can be upgraded to receive the food and merchandise offerings for $234.98."

Is it really worth the price? It seems very expensive. I really want to do something mum and daughter ish, but this seems like crazy money?

It is crazy expensive, which is why I've never done it with my 9 yay old. Maybe next summer we will do afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian instead of this princess tea. My daughter might appreciate an older tea event that is still special.

My DD always very much enjoyed her tea. We took her for her 6th birthday. Perfect age for it!

My dds are 6 and 4. We will be doing the afternoon tea at the GF. It should be a 10th the price and we can enjoy each others company instead of being entertained.

Truthfully, if there was only one kid, I would have indulged in the spoiling. But with 2, i couldn't justify the price. Or handle the fights over whoes doll or necklace it was!

I like the idea another posted below about having tea together at gf Instead of official party. You could wrap up a doll and surprise her with it and have your own little tea party :) In my opinion it was worth it but we also scrimped in other areas (did not set foot in gift shops, for example, and no dining plan). We did that intentionally so we could spoil her with these experiences which for me, were richer trimmers than a character dinner but/ its all a personal opinion and preference for sure
