Peppermint bark

Do you keep your bark stored in the fridge afterwards? I would like to make up a batch that could be mailed but Im afraid it would melt because of it setting up in the fridge.

No, after it's done I usually put it in Christmas tin's or little Christmas baggies and they never go back in the fridge unless people take it home and put it in the fridge. I think it would probably ship fine if you wrapped it really well. Especially if you're shipping it to somewhere like South Florida LOL!

Nestle's has a new dark chocolate and mint chip bag out that is for making peppermint bark. I got an email for it the other day. I saw some of the chips at Walmart today but didn't buy them yet. You just line a pan, put the chips in melt them in the oven and then use a knife to mix it a little! The bag of chips is mixed with dark chocolate and then green mint chips, so it looks really cool.
