Is this a food court ... sit down or counter sevice ????
Can we eat there even through we are staying at CBR ????
thanks

Pepper Market is a food court. It's different in that you are shown to a table and then given a ticket to have stamped at all the different food stations. You pay as you leave. A warning though, they charge a 10% tip, because they seat you.

And be carefull when you eat there. We have tried it several times, and have noticed the food at some of the stations looked dried out and old, which is not really a problem unless you really want something at a particular station, and you walk up to it and find out the food looks old. On one visit, we noticed that the cheese and luncheon meat at the sandwich station was all dried out, like it had been sitting around out in the air for a while. Another time, one of the prepared fish dishes on display looked like "long time no sea". Just make sure you take a look at the food before you order it.

We found it to be a combination of both. We were seated at a table and a server brought us cloth napkins and silverware, as well as a menu listing the items and their prices at the various food stations. She then brought our beverages. We went to the stations and ordered our food, then brought it back to our table. Dessert is a choice between (huge) cookies, muffins or yogurt ... all scrumptious. After eating the table is cleared for you. A 10% gratuity is added at checkout, and the total bill is covered if using a counter service credit on the dining plan. We've eaten here several times and found the food to be plentiful as well as delicious ... the best foodcourt on Disney property. And yes, you can eat there if you're staying at CBR ... or anywhere else on the planet!

Food Court? I don't consider this a food court at all....yes it's a counter service....but then again they do seat and serve your drinks.....food is excellent in my opinion....most of it is cooked when you order....I disagree with OP who stated it's stale, old....that is the "sample" plate.....not to be eaten by anyone...just so that you can see what you're getting.....the food in my opinion is wonderful, fresh, and plentiful.......and while there try a Margarita on the rocks!!!! I try to get there every trip we make ( 3- 4 times a year)

Wendy, I agree with you. I love the Pepper Market and have never had bad food there before. We always stay at CSR and love the PM :)

We had a very positive experience at Pepper Market and thought it was very good. I was surprised at the comment regarding dried out food since everything we had was made to order.

I don't think Pepper Market is worth a special trip using Disney transportation. It's a good CS choice with MYW Dining but I don't think I'd eat at PM unless I was staying at CSR, had a car or had another reason to visit CSR. You have to figure 30 minutes for the bus, including waiting time, and I don't think it's worth the hour you'd have to allow for R/T transportation.

We find Pepper Market to be a Great Lunch Time Break from the parks. Instead of going back to our resort, we go to CSR, have a nice relaxed lunch at Pepper Market, then put our feet up near the lake.

Then we go back to the parks refreshed.

You can eat at any place in any Walt Disney Hotel no matter if you are staying there or not, as long as you follow the dress code and pay the bill lol > With most of the places you just have to make sure you have the basic stuff on like a shirt and clothing just like when you go to Taco Bell they usually want you to wear a shirt. But to eat at some of the places at Disney Hotels you have to dress up and one place you have to wear a Coat and a Tie.

The next time you are there, look closely at the deli counter. While the sandwiches there are made fresh when you order them, the meat and cheese is already sliced, and sitting, under refridgeration, but NOT covered, and it tends to dry out just like it would at home if you did not re-wrap it in the package it came in. Also, they have a few what I would describe as "vats" of prepared dishes that they just scoop out of the vat, pot, food warmer, or whatever you want to call it, and put it on a plate when you order it. The pizzas, however, are made to order for the most part.
