So, I have read so many people commenting on Pepper Market. We have a couple of "off days" that we like to travel to see other resorts and have lunch so I was thinking of trying it here. My first question is I thought it was a CS (we have used up all our TS credits), but on AllEars it talks about gratuitiy. I don't mind that, but will it count as TS or CS?

The bourben chicken is calling my name and I'd love to see it there. It's one of many resorts we have never seen. We like to try and visit a couple each trip for lunch just to see them.

Thanks for letting me know, and there are 7 of us, and meals you can reccomend?

Thanks!!!

It counts as a CS but you have to pay grutuity.
No. The gratuity for this CS is included in the DDP. It's only those who pay out of pocket who pay the 10%. (This is true only for 2008; the restaurant hasn't signed on for 2009 yet.)

OK, even better. Anyone have any favorites there? We are thinking of eating there a week from tomorrow for lunch.

When we visited the first time we HATED the Pepper Market but last year found the food to have been much improved. The pizzas are cooked fresh and are very good (small deep pan). The mexican food is of average to good quality and again cooked fresh. The large salads are really nice and the fruit selection is good.

The bakery is the real negative, not good at all, as is the 10% gratuity when paying oop when it is basically a self service restaurant. The main problem we found is if you have children, by the time you have ordered and waited for their meal and then taken them back to the table and then gone to get one adult meal while the other one waits at the table the kid's are ready for dessert before one of the adults has even ordered their food.

It's worth a try if you've never been but don't expect anything outstanding.

We stayed at CSR in October and HATED the PM. Our stay in general wasn't great, but the PM is over priced and I thought had awful food. But maybe your experience will be different. Never know till you try i guess.

I think the value is great for a CS meal on the DDP. It can be confusing to navigate at first; take your time to peruse the food stations before you order.

The steak fajitas are my favorite.:thumbsup2

We love the PM- use all of our CS credits there each stay, even if we're not staying at CSR. The fajitas, nachos, and wet burrito are outstanding. The bourbon chicken is great too-- you can get it as a combo with some beef entree and it's delisicous. The pizza and pasta were surprisingly good as well- not many people can do alfredo right! Haven't had the steak personally but a friend did and she enjoyed it. We found the bakery to be similar in quality to other CS places but with more choices- muffins, croissants, cookies, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns.. I think ice cream too?
