We just returned from our first stay at Coronado Springs. We had a blast. Before going, I was reading different information about the Quick Service Plan at Pepper Market. We had the Quick Service Plan.

Desserts - There is a huge spread of cookies and muffins, which you can choose. There is also a case, and I was allowed to choose anything in the case. I did ask before selecting a dessert, because I read that you could only choose certain desserts. Upon selecting one in the case, they stamped my card "Tier III".

Tip - I was not charged a separate tip with the Quick Service Plan.

Rib Eye - Is not on the lunch menu. It is on the dinner menu. I ordered it one evening. Like all the posts I read, it is thin, about a half inch. At least half of it is fat, which I do not eat. There was about four ounces that were actually quite tasty. That being said, I would never pay $23.00 for that small amount.

Overall we enjoyed the food. I think that the only way to come ahead with quick service plans, is to eat at a place like the Pepper Market, where you have decent choices.

Have fun,

Thanks for this! DH and I are staying at CSR 3/1-3/8 and I am looking forward to eating at the Pepper Market. I probably *wont* get the steak now but I dont think Im a fan of rib eye.

We are on the regular dining plan but have our last evening there free for dinner and were planning to make it there and maybe a lunch too.

Howd you like CSR? Did you get a renovated room? Sorry to go off track :)

Have fun,

Thanks for letting us know. We are always so full after our meals that we never have room for dessert. On our trip in September, I think DH and I will share a meal so that we can share a dessert. I'm tired of everyone saying how great they are and I never get to taste them. :goodvibes

This is definitely the kind of place you eat if you are on the dining plan. Otherwise, it's pretty much a rip-off. It's ridiculously expensive.

I loved the resort. It is very relaxing.

We did not have a renovated room. It did, however, have two queen beds. I really had no complaint about the old decor. I know with the newer TVs, you get more walking space in a room, but the room is plenty large enough for a family of four, and when the kids are getting bigger, it is nicer to have the queen beds. Though sleeping is one things that we never have a problem with at WDW. By the way, we were in 7A. Without looking at a map, I think it is a rancho.

7A is a short walk to The Dig Site. The kids loved the pool. It is the best pool that we have been in at WDW. We have been to WL and AKL, but CSR's pool outshines both of those pools. My DD loved the slide. She must have done it 50 plus times.

7A, however, is a bit of a walk to El Centro. We had a car, so the two times we ate at Pepper Market, we drove to El Centro, after coming back from the parks.

Right next to the Pepper Market is a Lounge - or night club. It looked really cool, and if we were without the kids, I would have loved to check it out. To be honest with you, other than the Adventurer's Club, the CSR lounge is probably the only other lounge that ever interested me at WDW. Let me add to this by saying that I have never, other than take one boat ride from Epcot to Hollywood Studios, been to the Epcot Resort Area.

One night, I went out alone, and relaxed on one of the hammocks. It was very nice. Next time, I will take a pillow. I just kept shinning a light at the water's edge to make sure no gators would pop up and eat me.

I highly recommend the CSR. On our next trip I will probably book three nights at the CSR, then a week or so at the Pop Century. On this trip we stayed two nights at the CSR. It is so relaxing.

You will enjoy the resort.

Thanks, Rudy6. I've asked Buzz to post your review on the resort page with the rest of the CSR reviews. So glad you liked the resort. Laying in the hammock in the morning with my coffee or at night with my "special drink" is one of my favorite things to do at the CSR.
