Pepper Market and Quick and Casual Vouchers

I'm considering purchasing Quick and Casual vouchers to use at the Pepper Market for our stay at Coronado Springs. Has anyone used these vouchers here and can report on your experience? It looks like a good deal but I wanted to check with the experts first!

I used them before and they are great if you plan on eating big meals. The ribeye steak is the best option. A $34.00 meal for $11.00. Steak, potato, veggies, drink and dessert. Check the budget board. There is a thread locked to the top about the vouchers.

Will the CM's at PM refuse to fill a POP mug?

The CM's at the PM refill your drinks and will fill the reusable mugs. We had one with us.

You can only refill a CSR mug at the Pepper Market.

We used them last trip- had the special- prime rib, with side, potato, dessert and drink- we saved a lot. I would definitely use the vouchers if I were to stay there again.

Is the rib eye steak a good portion. What else there was a good meal. Also, how were the deserts?

I was just looking at the menu, can you get the sampler in the wok kitchen. I think my middle son would enjoy this. Also, if we do not stay on property can we go to this resort and look around without a problem?

I had the prime rib and it was a good size. The desserts we had - cake and a pastry- were okay.

I don't see why you couldn't get the sampler in the wok kitchen. You should be able to get past the guard booth if you tell them you are eating at pepper market. I only ate there once and it was a good voucher value but I don't think I would go out of my way to eat here.

Where do you get the Q&C vouchers?

Can they be used at any WDW restaurant?

You can get the wok sampler with the voucher but I found it inedible and my server removed it from my bill. With regard to the $34 "value" of the prime rib meal, our experience was that the quality of the meal in no way approached $34. It is false economy, IMHO.

For that level of quality, you want Jiko or Yachtsman or similar and paying full price is worth it. Just my two cents based on a trip 3 weeks ago.

I really recommend sharing some of the meals. My DH had the ribeye dinner with a baked potatoe and ate it all! He did share his dessert though.

My DD had the taco salad and we shared it. We also shared the dessert - chocolate cake - yum!

I forgot what my DS had, but he couldn't finish it all!

The vouchers are definately worth it! Enjoy your trip!

We used the vouchers there twice in August, it was very good food and even better using the vouchers.

A $34.00 meal for $11.00

Buzzman-I am not sure how you figured a $34 meal for $11, as when I went there, they had the ribeye dinner for $17.95 and on another day I went there, I got the prime rib and that was $18.95. Still a good deal using the $11.50 voucher. Maybe you are figuring in the gratuity?
