Peoplemover rehab or no?

We had read that the Peoplemover rehab had been pushed until March, but the Dis has it being closed as of today. Lines app says it's running, so what's the real story here? We are going to be in the World in 3 days and we want to ride the good ole TTA!

Hope this is true! We arrive on the 13th. It is not listed on the official WDW site as being down (unlike Splash Mountain), so maybe it has been postponed.

Just checked MDE, and it's open as of today.

It has been postponed until later this year. I can only assume this is because *I* complained about it being closed alongside Splash Mountain. ( )

Awesome! Happy we will get to go on it and maybe I helped too. I complained about our resort's pool being closed along with the People mover and some of the restaurants. They only contacted me about the resort pool but maybe they took People Mover complaint into account too!

Excellent! It's a family favorite and I was bummed when I read it would be down for rehab. Guess we're good now!

I think out of all the rides, I would cry the most if the People Mover was closed during my visit

Officially, it is Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.

Well don't get your hopes up about the people mover. Tried to ride it last night and it was like the little engine that couldn't... it was down for an hour then running for a few minutes, down, up, down and eventually we gave up and went over to BTMRR.

Love the People Mover. One of my favorite times was getting stuck on it. We were out the opening near Star Traders and it stopped for around 30 minutes. This made for a great afternoon rest spot.

A CM eventually walked us off the ride but it was nice while it lasted.

I was confused about this too - I saw the refurb notice, then they took it back, and then it's up again. Hoping it's running when we're there in 2 weeks - I have 2 young kiddos and I think it will be a hit!

Touringplans doesn't have it on the refurb list any more. Really hope it is up in March - definitely one of our must-do's every Disney trip!
