only one person has answerd to all of my threads how unfair is that. i thought dis was about helping new players guess it isnt "dont listen to new people dont even look at their threads. we'll just look at threads by people we know"

And don't take it personally that no one responded, people here are great. Put dis in your signature so we can see you around in the kingdom.
And I can't speak for anyone else but I have been hanging with ned. Building up credits for new outfits. (I think ned is sick of me wrecking all his boats)
And I dont usually respond unless I have something to say. But I would be happy to help you in anyway I can.

Nanoer, are you sure all DIS are mean? First I know that is nowhere near true or my friends list wouldn't be full! Second, you know you are on my list and I never treated you as anything other than a friend. Third, while I am trying to post a little more often here on the forum, I honestly prefer to have the time to be on vmk with my friends, rather than reading so many threads. It does take some time, and as I love vmk so much, when it is closed I have to do my 'real life' things. So, just a thought, why not spend more time in vmk visiting the dis rooms and the people on your friends list, and you will get a lot more active response there than you could here, IMHO

Don't let it bother you. It will happen again and again.

Can't tell you how many times I have posted and people that I "have" met and thought would be a friend - and I now they read the thread ---have never mentioned or responded to the thread.

Just consider the source and be happy go from there. See how easy it is think you might know someone and 'REALLY' don't......

And in like return, when people have posted, I haven't responded to them. I just hit the back button and read something else that might concern me more

I'm going to lock this thread now.

There has been an increasing number of posts by people who feel that they are being ignored, but when I look at their names, people are responding to them.

Threads of this nature will be removed from the board in the furture, as they are off topic for the VMK forum, and not helpful to the fun and friendly atmosphere on this board.

If you feel you are being ignored, my suggestion is to just give it more time. It takes time for people to recognize other posters, and build up relationships here on the DIS. It doesn't happen in 10 or 20 posts. Keep on posting. Keep on participating in the discussions on the board. The DIS is a wonderful place with lots of interesting and fun people. We're all one big happy family.
