I know everyone has an idea about what to do with the people mover track at DL.
Well here's mine. DH and I noticed that WallE doesn't really get much love at DL. He isn't even in the Pixar parade!
Remember in the movie how the robots and recliners move around on a track on light up lines. Why not make the people mover that. People sit in these leaned back chairs and move around on a lit up track going through some attractions. The upstairs of the arcade is totally empty and you could build an additional part of the attraction and have it go through there.
They really need to do something with it. But I know whatever they do it would be expensive. After seeing the track while on the monorail, things are chipped, rusted, etc. The track would have to be overhauled. Plus I believe they changed the type of track when they changed the people mover to the rocket rods. The people mover was a constantly moving traditional track while the rocket rods was magnetic propulsion I believe.
granted it would be expensive and I don't know if all their focus is on Star Tours and DCA right now,
But all those in favor of a Wall E people mover? Bad idea? not a bad idea? I would like to see WallE get a little love somewhere. It was a sucessful movie and a great merchandies seller. More so than Rattatoie and they get a Pixar float.

I love the "rogue robots"! They could do something funny with them.
