I had to look all this up for school today. I found names for everyone except for people in Connecticut. Anyone from there or anyone that knows a name for people in Connecticut let me know so I can add it to my list. I have to admit that I didn't know a lot of these and I thought I'd post them all just so everyone here will know what to call fellow DISers from all 50 states...well only 49 for now since I don't know Connecticut.

I looked up Connecticutite and it wasn't in Merriam-Websters (the final word when it comes to spellings in my profession.)

The words I'm looking for have to have the state's name as the root word.

I've heard "Nutmeggers" but there's got to be another word!

Mystery kinda solved... This Connecticut thing was killing me. I pulled up lots of websites though with list of names for residents.

Came up with this for CT:

THE CITIZENS:
People who live in Connecticut or who come from Connecticut are called Connecticuters. In 1702, Cotton Mather referred to Connecticuters as Connecticotians. Samual Peters referred to Connecticutensians. Nicknames for Connecticuters include Nutmegs or Nutmeggers.
