People are so rude

Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you aren't going to have a bad day, bad week, or just a plain old bad attitude. I'm Christian and sometimes I have all 3!! :thumbsup2 I just try to do better each day, you should've seen me 10 years ago! ;)

At any rate, Jennasis, I too love your siggy line! I have been on several of the same threads with you and crack up each time. The 'Sup Foo one is my favorite. I have a friend who's GPS voice is Mr. T. "Make a left, fool!"
:lmao:

Maybe she really wasnt Christian.

Maybe her significant other is named Jesus...

Simple case of mistaken identity.

:lmao::confused3:lmao:

HAHAHAHA. I literally laughed out loud. OP, I am so sorry you had to deal with such a jerk! I wish your hubby a speedy recovery.

I simply can't understand why you guys allow other people to get you so worked up over such little things like parking lot discourtesy. Take a breat. Move on. Let it go.

Also, people who confront others (or choose to actually damage their vehicles) are as bad or worse than the original rude people, in my opinion.

This wouldn't bother you?? If someone came close to hitting you or your wife with their car you wouldn't be a little peeved?

That is exactly why I don't have any type of Christian stuff on my car. I don't want the body of Christ judged by my failings.

I'm sure her husband is feeling better. This thread was started in August 2009!

In my experience the worst examples of a Christians are always the ones who advertise it. Just seems to be a common thing I have noticed.

.

I am going to agree with you on this one....I have been treated badly by those who "scream" their Christian ways, and yet some of the best people I have met have tried to live by example.

ummmmm....is this not the pot calling the kettle black?

You are confronting the OP and the others venting...take a breathe...move on...let it go!:rotfl:

Venting can be good for a person, OP I am sorry this person was thoughtless and I hope your husband feels better fast. My dad a couple of weeks ago had ten inches opened on his arm because of skin cancer. It was not fun.

People like that just amaze me. Sure, it's irritating, but I can't help but to think about how miserable and pathetic their sorry lives must be if they have to behave in that way. Seriously - their lives must absolutely suck and that just makes me feel sorry for them.

I SERIOUSLY hate tailgating though. That makes me hopping mad. People who tailgate are just an accident waiting to happen and believe me, it SUCKS to be the one who gets hurt because some other person is a complete moron. My husband was out of work for six months because some idiot was tailgating him in rush hour traffic on his way home from work. SIX FREAKING MONTHS because this pinhead doesn't know how to drive safely. People who tailgate need to get the heck off my streets, really.

My son was just hit in my car the other day because the lady who hit him was on her cell phone and not paying attention. He ended up in ER and my car is smushed front and back bc she sent him into the car in front of him with her carelessness and get this, she still DID NOT get off the phone!

Ha, this was from Aug 09...:lmao:

Any one who has to have a sign on thier car or anything else saying that they are a "CHRISTIAN" usually does so because there is no other way to tell.

This statement is so, so true. If you 'live' your faith everyday, those around you will know it without the need for (usually false) advertising.

Looks like another bumped thread via GrumpyPirate;)

But I'm glad-I didnt read it the first time-unreal

I was very confused by this thread as didn't Jen just have back surgery? I was trying to figure out how she was helping her husband to the car when she was recovering herself. LOL

:lmao:

anyway it still reminded me of that joke where the cop pulls over the car with the I love Jesus bumber stickers all over becasue the driver was doing all this crazy rude stuff and he thought the car was stolen becasue of the behavior.

that's why I checked the date. :lmao:

I took Dh to the doctor this morning for his post-surgical follow-up. He had shoulder surgery on Wednesday. After leaving the dr I was helping him into the car. He has his right arm in a sling and covered with this ice-pack vest. He's also super doped up on pain meds. So I'm buckling him in and getting his feet all adjusted when another car comes whipping into the parking spot next to us (on the passenger side). Yes this is the empty spot I am standing in while getting DH in the car. The lady driving sees me and continues INCHING forward until I could actually feel the heat from her front bumper....her intent clear.

MOVE.

I glance up at her and hold up a finger as in "just a sec" with a polite and apologetic smile. A second or two later, I finish and reach for the passenger door to close it (Dh cannot close it...no right arm remember?) and I literally just get my hand on the door frame and this loon starts inching into the space again!

Her bumper now inches from my knees!

I give her a "WTH" look, shut the door and go to walk around the front of my car, as I'm walking out of the spot, she's already gunning the car the rest of the way to pull in.

Dh starts muttering some not-so-DIS-approved words about this idgit as I get in the car. I figure she must be in a life-or-death hurry to get to the ORTHOPEDIST....but no, she lingers in her car for a bit, rummagin through her purse. Then she gets out and strolls to the office door. I am in disbelief but pull out of my spot to drive away. The kicker? Her license plate:

LUVSJESUS

:confused3

I'm sorry you have to endure so much drama in your life. I hope things get better for you and God washes you with rainbows. :grouphug:

Hey...blast from the past! DH is doing very well. Gives me hope that I will recover too from my surgery. Physical therapy starts tomorrow and I had my staples removed yesterday.

Pot meet kettle. We could say the same to you, since you have to post comments like this in EVERY...SINGLE...THREAD that has to do with bad drivers. Please take your own advice for once!
