I know exactly what you're saying... I work in a grocery store and we've had our fair share of *ahem* "gifts" Which is disgusting by itself... But we also get the "Don't wash their hands" , the "Don't close the stall door and go" , and my personal favorite: "The diarreha commentary"... (Trust me, you don't wanna know...)

Today, at my office, for the 3rd time this year, someone has ahem...left a 'gift' on the floor next to the toilet in the Women's bathroom.

How does this happen?

If it happened to you, wouldn't you be a little EMBARRASSED? Even if you knew that NO ONE knew it was you?

If it was an accident, WHY DIDN'T YOU PICK IT UP YOURSELF! Give our poor cleaning woman a break!

How does this keep happening? What is wrong with people?

At my old job (I used to work at Starbucks) this happened a lot with this same crazy homeless woman who would sneak in our back door (but she'd make it much much worse), but this is a secured office building and we are all adults! (at least, I thought so?)

Philly, huh? I'm wondering if we work at the same place, because I used to see that pretty often, 'til I found a 'safe' restroom.

It's funny, DH was just telling me why he doesn't want to live in camp when he's away at work. He said that a lot of the guys are too disgusting with their bathroom habits. Peeing all over the seats, leaving "presents' etc, it gets worse. One crew was reprimanded by management about the way they had left the bathrooms and the following day left it even worse, up to and including smearing feces on the walls. They were fired after that, but I couldn't believe that anyone would behave this way. And then this thread comes up and I learn that it isn't just the 'rig pigs' DH deals with - unreal.

in high school, my best friend's mom was a security lady at walmart, and she was walking around electronics one day, and all of a sudden she smells something gross, and looks down, and there is a rather large "present" on the floor. then a lady in a long dress walks up to her and says, "thats mine."

Theory: There is a Crazed Piggy-Pooper on the run in the USA. Traveling at the speed of light to all business bathrooms to leave 'ahem gifts.
Because otherwise it would mean there is more than ONE FEMALE who does this... and I refuse to believe that.

Disgusting!! I hate to even think about a mental image... or the sound! Eeew!

we had it happen at my former walmart as welll....yep you guessed it...in teh mens fitting room!!!!ewwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

speaking of men...why don't most if not all of thier stalls not have doors? what's that about???

These stories are SO gross! But I am still laughing at poor paper-towel-shoe girl!!!

My friend was a cashier while in college. One woman she was ringing up told her to hurry! Hurry! Oh too late! The woman lifted her skirt and showed the world her ahem gift wrapped in her drawers. Uuugggghh!!!!!

I'm a probation officer. We have two bathrooms in our lobby that people waiting can use. From now on, when we have classes or meetings after hours, the restrooms are locked, and we have to unlock them for people to use. Once the person finishes, we are supposed to glance in and make sure the clients haven't trashed the place before we allow the next person in.

We've had too many people cause messes in there. They never do it during office hours, probably because the people waiting would tell on them. It only happens during classes after hours.

These are the same restrooms we use for urine drug screens, so they are sizable rooms, with no partitions around the one toilet in the room. That's a lot of room to make a mess in.

..You know sometimes you hear about people "pooping" on somebody's lawn when they are mad at them......You hear that in movies anyway......just a thought.....

If you weren't in Philly I would think you worked with me. The bathroom across from my office is shared only by female employees on this floor, so about 4 departments. About every other week or so this happens but the majority of the time they also step in it and track little poo prints through the bathroom and all down the hallway. I know who does it some of the time, but one night she was off and it happened so there are 2 people that do it It really defies the natural order of things.

omg I am going to tell my SIL these stories, she works in an office and tells me this stuff happens all the time where she works!

Aaah! What a thread to start the day.

My thoughts are that:

1. People have no home training
or
2. Some people must have fetishes and get a sick joy from doing this.


My husband owns a janitorial business. He has long said that woman are far grosser than men. I have protested before. I think now, after reading all of this, that I wll have to agree with him.

People are definitely disgusting, that is for sure. I work in retail, and I can't tell you how many times people (adults and kids) poo in the fitting rooms and just leave it on the floor. I'm talking about adult women that will enter the store, converse with the employees, take serious time to select nice clothing, then go into the fitting room and squat down and go. Sometimes they'll use our garments as toilet tissue.

People are not too distant from animals in many ways. My dog will occasionally have an 'accident' but some people have an 'intentional', if you get what I mean

ABSOLUTELY! Can't wait! I actually am celebrating this trip because I will have worked every Saturday since October 3, 2008 and 3 days of poopy bathrooms and survived! hahaha
