My husband and I are driving down to Orlando in October.

My DD just moved to Pensacola in June. I'll be flying down to stay with herin a couple weeks.

To answer your question, I would go with one of the beach hotels on the beautiful Pensacola Beach.

There's a nice SpringHill suites by Marriott.

Well I've never stayed there (since I live here!) but I can tell you its RIGHT off the interstate and very close to food places, so the convienence is there. Just from driving by it looks like a decent place.

I have stayed at the Fairfield Inn off of I-10 many times for work. It is very nice with an indoor pool. Clean with a very nice staff. I recommend it. One hotel to avoid is the Ramada Inn-Bayview.
