So...hmm, where was I? Oh yes, we had crashed for the next 2 nights at the Mariott, nothing interesting there although I did post a pic of me working...woohoo...(yea, I was so thrilled) I am clueless as to where we ate dinner that Friday night, I guess I was too tired to remember ..The next day Carrie and Kayla went to the parks while I stayed in the room and did..yep, you guessed it, more work....I snuck out of work early and we decided to go to CiCi's for pizza dinner..I have to say this guy was pretty good with the ballons, who would have ever thought you could make a Sponge Bob Square Pants out of balloons...

Then we went on to do some shopping...Carrie wanted to buy these for Genesis......(geesh, shame on you Carrie)

There was a "killer pecking bird" that would not get off the top of this guys car....(and if you do not believe me about these birds being vicious ask Randy as one attacked me in Frontier Land for no reason)

I believe it was that night we then went over to Epcot, which were the Illumination Pictures I posted Previously

....then back to the Mariott to crash for the night as tomorrow we get to check in at Westgate....woohoo...

Sunday morning we are up and on our way...first to IHop for breakfast....or at least I think thats where we went as we kept changing our minds...anyway it was in a hotel and it wasnt that good, the service sucked and I was mean to the server, but oh well as I told her a little less talking and a little more working would have been nice. They brought our food in 3 seperate rounds. Kayla had hers 30 min before Carrie got hers ...as I said hte server sucked and the place was nasty....
So....(and remember I am still on the clock with work) on to find Westgate but along the way we had to get some Starbucks and do some more shopping....Mmmm, Starbucks.....PenQ was happy now...and so were Carrie and myself....

We finally make it to Westgate....

and we are now checked in....

That was side A....Then you have Apt B..which I stayed in...

We are happy to be settled in our home away from home, we rest for awhile before we have to go out to buy groceries.......

We decided it was time to go buy groceries so off we went to the WallyWorld down the road with a stop at the liquor store along the way.
PenQ decided to play elevator man and get us to the ground floor...

We jumped into the Liber-tay and were on our way....
When we came back this is what the elevator looked like...Do you think we have enough groceries for the week????...........

After all that hard work of sorting thru the groceries and getting everything unpacked and organized we decided it was time for Kayla to enjoy some pool time and for me some pina colada and for Carrie I dont remember...hahahh

This is what happens when the bartender thinks you are accommodating and "flexible" you get free drinks....Mmmm, I was loving it....
(and btw, really loving all these wonderful adjectives about me ...hahahah, these people dont know me very well do they...hahhahaahahah, first John with the cultured pearl, now I am flexible....yea yea yea, I know John must have been drunk...lolrof)
Carrie was enjoying a drink of her own...

and then of course there she was again on that darned phone....geesh...

Finally the pool and the bar were closing down and it was time for PenQ to get his tiny little self to bed and under the covers as tomorrow morning was coming way too soon....

The next morning we woke up bright and early ....planning to get to HS for rope drop....
Kayla had her hot chocolate in bed..........

PenQ decided he would help me make my version of Tonga Toast for BF..with powdered sugar and syrup topping and hidden mickey bananas on top to go with the bananas in the middle.... PenQ is a slow cook...

After BF I hurried and cleaned the kitchen and the dishes so that we could make it to rope drop..

First stop was ToT!!!! My favorite ride at HS

Carrie's a Pro at this ride now after me making her ride it so much over Labor Day

Kaylas still not too sure she truly likes this ride

and has to hold on real tight........

I have to say this was the LAMEST ToT drop I have ever experienced, not sure what was up with that but regardless I could not convince Kayla to ride it again so off we went to the RRC.........

A lot of people never go to the front of the room towards the window so they never see this.....

I wonder who THIS made us think of.....

So its Monday night and we go back to the resort , Carrie has to go pick up her friend Chelsey and her BF Francisco from the airport at midnight so I stay at the resort to watch Kayla.... Now "the rest of the story" starts the next morning. You will start to understand why our mantra for the rest of the trip turned out to be "The Happiest FRACKINEST Place on Earth" Carrie and I had already discussed pretrip that this was going to be different than our other trips as we would have Kayla with us and this was her only time to do the world this year, so there would be less drinking, less late nights etc.... What neither one of us had figured into the Disney Equation were people who would not have the same passion for Disney as we have. I am probably worse in that area than Carrie is even as when I am at WDW it is all about Disney as I can party and get into mischief at home... I am pretty serious about my Disney vacations and nothappy with ppl that mess with my DisTime................. I had known going into this that I hadnt taken any vacation time so I knew I would be spending some of my time at the resort on days I knew work would be crazy but for the most part I thought I would be in the parks..... Well, that was my first misconception...... My second misconception would be thinking that I can get along with anyone as long as they are not in my face....Well....that used to be true but add age to the equation (as in I truly dont care anymore if you like me or not, especially if you are not a constant part of my world) plus the fact that I am menopausal and the moods strike me whenever with me having no control over them and yea....I learned I cannot get along with everyone anymore........especially if you ask me for my opinion... Not a very wise thing to do anymore , especially if I am having a menopausal moment........................
So, the next morning, I getup early and get the coffee started...

Kayla of course gets her daily dose of hot chocolate brought to her in bed
PenQ helps me make some Mickey Shaped Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs and Bacon....and I am thinking we are going to get a decent arrival time at the Parks but this doesnt happen,(and I understand as they didnt get in til late last night)
Eventually, everyone gets up and we are on our way to Epcot..(no park Hoppers for friends so we do one park a day)
Soarin..here we come....

We get Fran to try "Beverly" at Club Cool....Yea, he's not too impressed although Chelsey of course (along with the rest of us) thought it was quite funny...

We stop to take some pictures of the Food and Wine Festival Sign....
(it was picture taking that starts most of the arguments between Fran and Chelsey.....)

Then its off to Test Track.......

Then wouldnt you know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ride is stuck..............!!!

Finally we get to moving and as always its a fantastic ride.....
Not certain what else we did that day, it wasnt much as I recall, we went into Innoventions and played for a while as well.......

Then the group decided it was time to go back to the resort for down time......
I went to sit on my deck and do some work while the rest went to the pool and played.....and played and played...I cooked dinner and when they got back they had dinner and then the plan was to go to Illuminations again...I had a bunch of pay alerts to put into the system and I thought it would be nice to allow Carrie and her friends to have some time without me so they went back to the park to catch illuminations and I stayed at the resort and worked as I didnt see any sense in going back to the Park for just an hour as I wasnt certain how long it would take the group to get ready again, (they were already grumpy)....
The plans for the next morning was to hit rope drop...8:30 departure time per Carrie.....Day 2 was to be HS ................... I was looking forward to an early morning start..................... Will we make it???????

Wednesday...Yay, another day...Will the happy couple wake up Happy or Grumpy? Will we make it out of the resort by 8:30 as planned....???

I am hoping for the best as I get my self up at 6, get into the kitchen to get the coffee started before I jump into the shower and get dressed...Then I go back to side A to get Kayal her good morning Hot Chocolate....(which I have to say was always a fun way to start my day as she is a truly sweet child)

I made French Toast and bacon for Breakfast..(Fran, I must add was always appreciative and said thank you for anything I cooked, and for that HE was appreciated) But..of course...noone up and ready to go at 8:30...so I went back to Side B to work and wait.....Eventually everyone is ready to go.... Not seeing many happy smiles on the faces this morning, are we....??? Nope....just a lot comments thru gritted teeth about this being the Happiest Frackinest Place on earth darned it!!!!
PenQ was smart , he stayed 'home' today on the shelf with his buddy and they had a jolly good time.....

YAY!!! The dream team was there with us....Would they enter the ToT??? You bet, and what did we all win but Magical Fast Passes

Then off we went to RRC again.... (there was more pouting along the way as I recall....)

I got in one more picture before we hit 60mph in .2 seconds.....lol

Then off to Toy Story Mania....and it was this walk where the real fussing began...because Fran stopped in the middle of walking to take pictures and Chelsey was less than polite about it.... Oh boy, did the thrills ever stop????
So finally we are on the ride...Chesley and Carrie rode together, and I think this time around I rode alone and Kayla rode with Fran...yep, because here was my score this time..........

It was our plan to then go on to Muppets 3D but while we are in the auditorium waiting to go in the pouting between Fran and Chelsey came to a screeching finale...Carrie and I went on in, thinking they would cool off but it just wasnt happening..................

As I recall we ended up going back to the resort again after Muppets 3D...
More pool time, more work time for me...and I enjoyed my peace and serenity on the deck, it was a welcome change from the tense silence....

The pool seems to improve everyones mood and so we have the dinner I cooked for us go back to HS to finish our day.... So do you think we can make it thru the rest of the day in peace???? I doubt it.......................

Did I already point out to you that our friend Todd from the AC, m oved here and started a Livery Stable after the AC closed???

I was hoping we would follow the yellow brick rode to a more happier group....

but that too was not meant to be....
Carrie and I had plans to see Fantasmic....Chelsey and Fran were fighting again after we did the Backlot Tour

Personally, I could have pushed them both into the water except Chelsey was sitting with me and Kayla and Carrie and Fran were way in the back in a different car even..................

I am not certain where else we went but after this last disagreement Chelsey and Fran went off on their own and they were to meet up with us at Fantasmic....they never did and Carrie, Kayla and I ended up having to sit in the nosebleed section for Fantasmic, regardless it was still as awesome as it always was and it was hte perfect way to end our night

Ok, so I just realized I had my days backwards....The last post was actually Thursday...yea I thought it was the HS day that was the day from Hades.....
Wed had been MK day and that is where the Happiest Frackin Day on Earth started...I will post pictures of that later....Thursday was the HS day and it was the day spent with all day fighting from morning to evening. After the
M3D fiasco we had went back to the resort to sulk...yes I just said that.... Fran and Chelsey were not speaking to each other so we all ended up back at the resort and finally I had had enough. I wasnt mad at Carrie, she was doing what she thought was best and trying to please everyone but I was mad at Chelsey for acting like a spoiled 2 year old...... I had made up my mind I was tired of the attitude, tired of no park time and I was going to rent a car. I went and told Carrie what I was doing and that I wasnt trying to hurt her feelings, it wasnt her but I had had ENOUGH....she said no, please dont..(and at this point I knew we had a surprise visitor coming in in the morning with his own car) so I agreed to let her take me back to the park...but oops no we decided to wait for another hour to get Fran and Chelsey to come...and by now my 'I am the adult here and tired of you 2 spoiled brats' attitude had kicked in and I am not a happy person. I wait and wait, I was waiting outside....they finally show up, I go to the elevator, we go to the parking lot and Chelsey asks a question she should have known better to ask. I guess it was the fact that I had been so accomodating, that I was never rude to her or Fran, that I tried to keep a smile on my face the whole time that really made her think I would be polite and baby her when she asked me this question, or maybe its just the fact that maybe the rest of the world spoils her, well sorry....I am not the rest of the world. I am a tired, annoyed, menopausal person who is at her limit! so when she looked at me and said "I guess you are really getting tired of our fighting" I didnt look at her and say ever so sweetly, oh dont worry about it we all have our off days...Oh no, not at this moment when my fuse was gone and my vacation was almost over and she had ruined 3 days of it...My mind said be nice and my mouth said "Well, as a matter of fact I am more than a little tired of it!" and all would have been fine if she had just shut her mouth and left it there but no, she had to have the last word which was " Well, I am more than just a little tired of everything as well...."(sending that in my direction) Well, my mind controlled my mouth which really wanted to tell her to go frack herself, instead I got into the Liber-tay and said not a word.... I wasnt rude, I didnt go out of my way to ignore them but I did ignore them. I had been as kind and as polite to a person that I had no use for for 3 days, I had cooked and cleaned up after her, I had did Disney in an as accomodating manner as it was possible to do, I had wasted precious disney time for 3 days now being nice....so there was no need for the smart alec response....So, from that moment on I was done with Chelsey.... Was I going to be rude to her, no, but I wasnt going to go out of my way to be nice either.....

So, since I forgot to put in Wednesdays report (eek, I suck on this trip report...lol) here we go for Wed pictures...
PenQ woke up in the morning to help me cook breakfast...He was always a welcome companion in the mornings..nice ..peace...serenity....lol

I think it was close to 10 before we left on Wednesday ... PenQ decided to take this day off to just relax by the pool...

Today was MK day, my favorite place on earth......

On to the Jungle Cruise....

Cant you just feel the Happiness..... lol

And because you have to do Its a Small World at least once in your Disney experience.....

Snow White...(this was one of my favorite stories when I was little)

and they lived happily ever after.............(only in fairytales)

I think we were back at the resort by 1:30 for more pool time then back to MK just in time for Wishes...

Then back to the resort .............. (skip ahead to Friday for the next report since we already posted Thursday above)

Let me throw in a little side note here and make it clear that none of the non disneylike moments on this vacation were the fault of the sweet hostess of this vacation...Carrie did everything in her power to make everyone have a great time, her vacation also suffered from non disneylike moments but we did have some fun moments, the road trip getting there was loads of fun, and the awe that we felt when we saw the rooms at the resort was breath taking. Monday at the Parks was wonderful, sharing the magic with Kayla etc .... I would vacation with Carrie again at any time Just not with her and any of her other friends..............unless I had my own vehicle that I could come and go as I pleased........... Just being able to relax on the balcony and take in the warm weather was wonderful. The first moment I went thru the Welcome to Disney World gate was wonderful and brought tears to my eyes the same way it has been doing since 1999. Seeing Cinderellas Castle that first day, brought all the joy it always brings.... There were definitly wonderful moments along the way, and I dont want to take away from that ...

So....Friday morning was finally here and I had a surprise....I knew that a

GoofyDadof3 had made plans to surprise us at AK that day so I was ever so anxious to get up and get to the parks... 8:30 was the appointed time to leave our resort, I had made bacon,egg and cheese biscuits but certain people were still pouting so..oh well, not my problem........... PenQ was one smart penguin, he decided to stay at the resort and watch some tv and just "chill" ....

..but first he had to escort us to the Liber-tay.....
Ground floor please.............

The day was perfect, the weather was just right.....We werent quite making it to AK for rope drop but it wasn't noon either....
As we walk thru the turnstile Carrie is on her phone...I am looking around as I know our surprise visitor is lurking....I look to my left....nope dont see him, looking to my right...still no surprises....We start walking towards the tree of life, and there to my left....finally....he throws me the sign telling me to "shush" and finally comes up behind Carrie................ YAY! John has joined us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was very happy to see my co conspirator so that I would not have to be keeping any secrets any longer..... I have made up my mind that come heck or high waters I am going to have fun today, I will plaster a fake smile on my face and be polite to others if it kills me....so off we go to EE.......YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hadnt seen John since the May trip and I was very happy to see him as he always brings a smile with him.......................

On to "here kitty,kitty , kitty...." and the CM admonsihing me for saying that.................(bad Angy)

Then we decided to have lunch at YaknYeti....Not sure what everyone ordered...and no food porn...sorry....I know we all had drinks....(I believe there were a couple of stops along the way this day...lol) I think I had the sweet and sour honeyed chicken...I know I had what I think was called the yaknyeti surprise..a mango margarita with raspberrry swirled in it...Yummm....
Then we decided to go back and ride EE again...but we got thirsty along the way and had to stop for more beer and another yaknyeti for me.....

After that we headed towards the direction of Dinosaur!!!!!!!!!!!!! Genesis' favorite ride........
Along the way we see our paint crew from Labor Day....lol but I didnt get any good pictures this time around.....

On the way back John gets to meet his best buddy Goofy....

Then a little more shopping and playing....On to Its Tough To Be a Bug... and of course The Safari...not necessarily in that order...

Somebody needs to groom this Ostritch......lol

I ownt bore you with more Safari Pics...I never tire of this ride or taking pictures on it....and I dont get to ride the safari when G is with me as he finds it boring...........(one day I need to sit down and explain to him that Disney is so much more than rides..............)

The crowds were crazy ...we eventually made it to Its Tough to Be a Bug tho..............................

then we decide to go back to the resort to rest for a while as Carrie has to take Fran and Chelsey to the airport.........................
