So, my last trip to The World was over Labor Day Weekend. PLease feel free to read that report..Our Neverending Wild Advntures

Before we had even finished this trip we had the next one planned. The cast for this trip is myself...Angy from VA

Carrie from CT....

Her lovely daughter Kayla..

Our tour guide and trip mascot is the ever adventurous PenQ...

PenQ's story begins in CT tomorrow around 1pm when he will guide Carrie and Kayla on to my house in VA. Now since I live in the boonies and you cannot GPS or mapquest my address this will be a true adventure but I have given Carrie addresses within a few miles so she will be good to go...
I dont know about Carrie but my bags are not packed and I have to pack for Maries week with her grandparents so things will be pretty rushed today and tomorrow....

I'm here.. I'm here..wooohooo

No Carrie is not packed. I have to pack for myself and Kayla. Very different from my last 4 trips (this year ) having to worry about packing for someone else as well. So many loose ends need to be tied up.

This will be Kayla and I's first trip driving. PenQ actually has taken a long trip, he flew from Tenn .. to Disney .. back to Tenn ... drove back to Disney from Tenn ... then flew from Orlando back to Providence and drove to CT.. whew he is a experienced traveler.. word

This is the plan man ...

I will be leaving work at 12 noon tomorrow then picking Kayla up from school and we will hit the road. We will get from CT to VA (the sticks ... real bad in the sticks like turn left at the brown cow.. turn right at the barn type of sticks) tomorrow night. As Angy has said. Then we will be bright eyed and bushy tailed to hit the road friday am after dropping Marie off at school.

Friday and Saturday night we are staying at a Courtyard on I-Drive (thank you Mr.Marriott for my awesome discount) and then Sunday we will check into the timeshare (Westgate Lakes Resort) from Sun to Sun.

Of course there still are other characters to be introduced. This is my parents timeshare.. it sleeps 12.. How could I not invite everyone.

Maybe if I get packed tonight and ready I can throw up some pics... And introduce these other peeps correctly.

Yay...so we are almost ready to go..just lots of laundry, 2 suitcases to pack here...2 for you to pack there.....a few necessary cooking ingredients to grab from my cupboards...the lawn really needs mowed...but work has been crazy today, the mail needs to be stopped ,the cat litter changed...(yuk, its Gs cat he should come do the dirty work) But...I just received good news but not sure how long its gonna last..Because last week I had to fill in for a Regional Manager who did not do her job it looks like they are making her take my weekend so YAY!! I just MIGHT have the weekend off..is trip mojo and ixiedust: working its magic already???
More to come as I get signs printed out and we get closer to Friday morning...

Well, if you can get to VA, you can get to 288 which takes you to Powhite Parkway, which takes you to 360 which is Hull St Rd, You will take that West to Amelia and on to that little Hick town...and I am exactly 8/10th of a mile off of Hwy 360...now how difficult can that be...and for anyone who is wanting to stalk me since i Just gave eveyone directions to my house, go for it..I have an attack cat...he can just throw his dirty litter box at you

So..today is the day PenQ starts to VA...Will he make it, will Carrie follow directions?? Stay tuned to find out more.

I have a million things to do today myself so I need to get started.
..and no Randy...although your phone call this morning was sweet of you it is TOMORROW morning at 9am that we should be on the road...

The 2 CT Princess's and PenQ are packed and ready to hit the road!!

Just have to work till noon , run to the store to grab a cell phone car charger, and then pickup Kayla. Hopefully will be on the road no later than 1pm. Looks like it should be 8 or 9 hours to get to Angy.. thats without factering getting lost..

Carrie should have left work by now and be headed to school to pick up Kayla...I have not finished my packing and just realized I left some things out of Maries suitcase for grandmas house....rush, rush, rush...I always forget it takes three times as long to pack 2 bags and get 2 ppl ready to go somewhere than it takes when it is just me....Must get back into the "mommy mode"............the trash has been emptied, the last load of is in the machine....will I be ready on time????????????????/
So for now...you are entering ....

I will post an update tomorrow morning when we are all safely on the road and post updates intermittently....

PenQ and his 3 Princesses are safely on their way to Florida.
Carrie arrived at around 9:30ish last night. Kayla and Marie enjoyed each others company and stayed up way too late then of course Marie didnt want to go to school this morning...whew...but we are now on our way and PenQ is being the good penguin that he is and monitoring my work for me..(yes people I am technically NOT on vacation as far as work knows....bad Angy)

Carrie is very amusing (city girl) She wanted to know where the cows were at. I told her I have no cattle , but the neighbors have a donkey, chickens,cocks-roosters, and various types of fowl and if she would just hang around she would see the chickens come over intot he backyard If we see any cattle I am making her pull over and get a picture....
So...we are on our way and nothing interesting so far..No hot guys,(unless you rename donkeys...jacka-- ...)
Received our good morning and have a safe trip call from Tom so we are good to go

After being stuck in traffic from the moment we got on I95 we of course had to spend part of that time talking to the truck driver beside us....Then we decided to follow him to the truck stop...all for the sake of Teresa and honoring the memories of our Boston Rd Trip...(will insert picture of truck later) Imagine our surprise to be able to find that weenies were buy one get one free... so we were able to have our weenie and eat it too

So, now we are back on our way...Imagine this little side note that SOMEONE forgot to tell me prior to this trip. Since I am "The responsible adult" on this trip anything and everything that happens while we are on this adventure is MY fault" and of course the statement from the irresponsible adult that said this was "I dont see the problem in that" We will not mention that while at the truck stop someone opened a door that was not locked on an occupied shower room (sorry no pic to share of that experience although it would have required a magnifying glass to be censored.... )

and just a reminder to those who choose to go on road trips with others....Think about Karma before you go and if those you are traveling with have permanently borrowed something...from a young child no less....just realize that trip karma will NOT be with you and there will be traffic from hades.....

So Genesis has agreed to help even out the trip mojo/karma...Every hour on the hour me and Kayla have agreed to say "Are we there yet" just to make sure Carrie realizes she is the MOM here...hahah so now we have Genesis assisting by sending her a text message every 15 min asking Are We There Yet...So ARE WE THERE YET????? Unfortunately no we are still about 90 miles from Savannah.... Why are we not there yet you may ask??? Because Carrie is too busy flirting with "these guys"

And I would have gotten a really nice picture of the 6 awesome bikes on this trailer but Carrie has to make sure everytime she passes them nshe does so on the right hand lane so I cant get a good pic...Needless to say there are 2 very hot looking hunks in this truck....Gee Carrie, one for each of us..you dont have to be so selfish..........
