Penny question

Here we go with the pennies again! Just curious as to which penny machines are the best. My girls are searching through their pennies to find the best ones, and my 7 year old asked me what kind of pennies you can make. Are their machines with each character on them, or they more of a generic Disney logo?

OMG!!! trust me you can get anything and everything you want on a penny cruncher!! I just spent 7 days chasing around after DH an DS looking for machines, we came back with enough pennies to fill 2+ books. We only bought one so now I need to find 2 more. Most machines have 3 pennies to choose from so you will certainly be able to find what you want. There is usually a Mickey-themed one for that area, a generic one for that area, and a character for that area. Such as in AK a machine will have one of Mickey in a Safari hat, one that says Animal Kingdom and one of Simba. So your kids will have plenty to look for LOL Happy Hunting

Oh Awesome! Thanks for the link! My daughters are very excited about the pennies, but I've already told them that they have to be selective, since they don't cost only a penny! LOL This will help in planning out which ones they'd like to make!

What we did was give each kid a film canister filled with quarters to use for the pennies. Each machine has three designs and we limited them to only one at each machine. This made the quarters last longer. They really liked trying to find the machines in WS. THey have them in most of the countries.

just remember pre 1982 pennies are the ones that you want to use. They come out with a sharper image..

Soak them in Vinegar and use a tooth brush to clean them up with.

A while back someone said she layered 2 quarters/1penny in the mini M&M tubes. I thought that was a great idea for us so I hunted down the M&M tubes for my son to bring to the parks.
