penny press machines

are there any in universal parks, like they have them at disney parks?

I know 5 kids that are going for the first time and they love collecting things like pennies so wondering if I can get them some to press.. i just dont want to and they get there and no machine to be found anywhere ... thanks,

I asked about this recently and was linked to a site which showed about a hundred different pressed penny options at each park, and some at City Walk as well. Bring your change, lol! I ordered some pressed penny books for my daughter on Amazon, and she's so excited about collecting pennies at Universal in two weeks.

Great... thanks for the info.. you know the young kids... if you get them pennies for the machines and none are around .. then i get the whining and pouting.....
now , that i know there are many around...

Got home yesterday from the parks. My kids got tons of pennies. I even bought the universal studios penny books for all three of us. They open to 4 pages and were only $5.95 each, I expected them to cost more. Only problem is its hard to get them into the plastic sleeve the first time, gotta kinda scratch at edge for it to open. Kids totally love them though!

Oh, and I did bring my wheat pennies. Cleaned them in white vinegar and salt solution. Look like new and will last longer being copper with not all that zinc.

thanks for all the info.. i will go to the bank and get several rolls of pennies for the kids... little things like this make them so happy...and does not cost a lot to me....

THANKS for posting this! I bought two generic ones on Amazon but they are SO UGLY. My daughter can use those for her other pennies, and we'll get the Universal book for this trip. Can you tell me how many pennies they hold? That's a great price, I think I paid 8.95 for two of the plain, hideous ones.

Also - are the books sold in a particular store, or in many of them? I want to make buying one a priority, she'll really enjoy having it early in the trip.

Almost every gift shop has them. Usually near the register, just ask if u don't see them. They hold 51 pennies and 3 quarters. It folds out into 4 pages.
