I have made an autograph book for my DD to collect autographs while on our trip. I keep hearing retractible sharpies mentioned, but the only ones I can find are ultrafine tip - is that what others are using?

I have used regular pens and they turn out fine and the characters didnt seem to mind using regular pens

My cousin is a CM and lives with some of the "characters." They prefer the bulky retractable pens. Disney actually sells an "Official Autograph Pen" that is twice as thick as a retractable Sharpie, which helps the gloved characters hold the pen better

We used the retractable Sharpie pens on our last trip. The characters did fine with them!

Have fun!

I found an 8 pack of chunky and fine point **PASTEL** sharpies at Walmart tonight!!! :woohoo:

I plan to ziploc them seperatly then ask the (human) characters to pick their own color. I bought silver metallic just for Cinderella, though. ::yes::

I find 'giant' pens all the time at the dollar store. They have a very large barrel for the characters to grip easily and they often have themed ones. We have one with a pumpkin on the end of it, a flower on the end, Mickey Mouse, Toy Story, etc. The characters always make a show of noticing the pen theme. They love to 'sniff' the flower pen.
