Alright, I just wanted to post a couple of pics I took and one that I processed. Tell me what you think. The processing on the last one was nothing more than late night experimenting with pre-loaded scripts in PSP XI. What do you think?

Same as above but...

i love the last one
there was a great article in adobe after capture about changing photo to watercolor ish it's the dec/ jan issue and not sure but it may be online( it's free to subscribe)

That last one came out great! I would frame that, maybe smallish like 5x7 and hang it somewhere, for sure! The others have great detail in the pelican but you lose a bit by having the upper background being white. Perhaps getting slightly higher to get the whole head in the darker background would have been a little better? The lighting is really nice. Must have been later in the afternoon or late morning? Just a guess. I am trying to "see" these things more. So as far as my semi-trained eye can tell, I like the watercolor version (it just works real nicely), and the photo that it came from the best.

Note: I'm not anywhere near professional so take my criticism with a grain of salt.

Your critique is welcome and very much appreciated. The shots were taken very late in the day. (Not much of a sunrise kinda guy).

Nice work. The processed image looks fabulous. The second image looks a bit oversharpened (the halo on the back of the neck). Maybe that was done fore the processed image? Also, I might have tried to move the pelican in the firsy image more to the right side of the frame, a little more RoT placement.
