well, after what we had read and what i had been saying that i didnt want her to do it and didnt want her to get hurt. she didnt by herself. but after the needle went through she took it out too soon and couldnt get the ring in, so now there is a cut on her stomach.

In my humble but acurate opinion, belly button piercing are ugly and creepy. Yes! UGLY AND CREEPY!

if you pierce your belly button on your own, the needle you use IS NOT GAUGED. Most belly button rings are 16g or 14g. So when you pierce it you're gunna have to stretch the hole. that's gunna hurt more than piercing it EVER would. Go get it done professionally later on, because most likely you'll get a really bad infection.

There was a girl at my school who peirced her own nose and lip (but no one belived she did it) Anyways supposiply(sp?) her nose got infected and had to let it close and i'm not sure what happened to the lip ring i think it got infected too

Just to add a story that i found funny when it happened not sure how funny it will be when i say it though:

This girl started wearing a fake magnetic nose ring. About 2 weeks ago i had a sub in science (and my science class has been trying to get her to admit it was a fake for a while) so one of the other girls started putting stapled up near her nose to see if it would stick to the magnet. Then the girl with the nose ring took the staple an put it to her nose to show it was real but the fake one fell off. So then she was telling us that she really did it and that if anyone had a needle she would peirce it again to prove she did it before. She found a sewing needle and started to peirce her nose in front of the class it was really disgusting. But she never finished becuase the sub sent her to the office
