PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

WOW...I am late to this party!! I am LOVING this PTR & now I'm sad I won't be there at the same time. I'm definitely subscribing & can't wait to read the TR when you get back! popcorn::

party::welcome:party:

Never too late.

The TR will be monsterous that's for sure.

I LOVE my knock off crocs wear them all the time !!! Hate sneakers ,boots etc I wear crocs till the snow falls and then have to switch to sneakers and boots !!! I am the only CROC Lover in the family though !!

Are you bringing your Crocs to WDW? We'll have to take some pix with them...

Alrighty, now I have seen Jordan's chonies-we use that here. My kids own Crocs and I love my Croc flip flops. Saved me in the rain last May. Think you should take the lady up on the personal shopping.

I have seen the flip flops. They DO look nice and comfortable...:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I said I WISH I could come!!!!

Go back to page 209 of your crazy, growing, almost to 250 page PTR. ;) Are we going to set a record with a part deux?? :rotfl:

I know Erica. One of these days we'll get to meet! I can't wait for that day!

Part Deux is looking like a reality these days.

You got the tone right. I  my mom. Style icon, she is not.

My parents dress age appropriately thank God. Never in style, but never completely out either.

I think I'm the only Mom in America whose kids have never worn, nor own a pair of crocs...

Hee hee hee.

I guess your in good company here too. My kiddos haven't either. My DS17 wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole :cool1: he's to cool for such things. :rotfl:

My dd10 wanted to get a pair while in WDW 2007 but she has the same problem that I do when it comes to crocs. Her foot is to long for her size and then the next size up is waaaay to big. :confused3 They never did appeal to me, but I did try them to see what the big deal was. :confused3 I have the problem of incredibly high arches so this also worked against me.

I however read that a lot of Diabetics wear them.....especially when their going to do a lot of walking, they won't rub or cause sores. Very important for diabetics since they don't heal easily. :sad2:

It's been 3 pages since last night when I checked last---- and y'all are STILL on shoes....

Hey I looked at Kouzzina last night. Not bad! Lots of good looking stuff on there. Found a review on it too (here on the DIS) and the pictures look like it's such a fun place.

Camille, okay go to zappo and look up merrells and steve maddens and pick me out some shoes and see if I like them. I'll give you commission;)

Your on! :thumbsup2 You'll have to PM your personal info. so I know what I'm hunting for exactly. Can't go treasure hunting if you don't know what your looking for.
;)

Jordan was discussing shoes and bags (okay a bag) and I missed it. Don't worry, I won't turn you in to the "man police."

I love my crocs at Disney, but I don't wear them out otherwise. I think the Keens look great - my grandkids have them and I'm jealous. Again, something I would wear at a theme park, camping or rafting.

Beware of the croc flip flops. I got a pair and wore them once from the room to the pool at Atlantis. I had a huge blister between my toes on one foot and then the skin ripped off almost to the ball of my foot - all that by the time I got to the pool. Pretty painful for the rest of the trip. The rubber piece between the toes is really thick.

Have a great weekend everyone - I'm going to be really busy.

I expect to be talking about shoes for awhile...;)

Okay personal shopper.:thumbsup2

Ouch on the croc flip flops...

you have a great weekend too.:thumbsup2

I always stress about clothes shopping for Disney because you need them to be so many things. Comfortable, practical, and of course you want to be pretty in them too!

Despite the fact that my feet look big enough with adding large rubber brightly colored shoes to them, I do love my crocs (and croc-offs). Airwalk actually made a Birkenstock-style sandal out of the crocs material, and those are my favorite..they are ultra comfy.

Ermm Jordan..if you're giving out cash and gift cards..:rolleyes1

I love your TRs - so entertaining! I thought I would come out of lurkdom to recommend that you check the sierra trading post website. They have great deals on the shoe brands you mentioned. I got some Keen hiking boots really cheap. I wear the Keen Venice H2 in the parks. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. Good luck on the shopping!

I love my Crocs for WDW but I would never wear them anywhere else. They have saved my feet many a rainy day at WDW and you know that I have had LOTS of those.

Hey J!

Imagine my delight when I check in after being away from you PTR for a while and I see I get another looksie at your unmentionables! :rolleyes1 I concur that you most definitely need some new boxers. Just sayin'.

I hope I don't look pretty in my new clothes....;) I'll settle for hot....:rolleyes1

I like Airwalks...hmmmm...

I may have to start a new contest...

thanks for taking a close look at those chonies...yes, they're old...those don't have the extra breezeways though...:rolleyes1

I love my croc flip-flops and wear them daily!! I think the name for mine are Capri-the strap isn't rubber-it's made of canvas! A lot more comfortable!! If my feet are hot-I'm hot-so I tried these out on my recent trip to Disney-they were great. I switched during the trip between my croc flip-flops and my Teva flip flops! Never had a problem! Give the crocs a chance! :thumbsup2

Wow Jordan, a shopping update! I think you are looking at 600+ for that list you got going. Unless you get some primo deals. I couldn't afford to go on the trip if I bought all new clothes for it ahead of time - I just hope I've bought enough throughout the year between each trip that I won't be wearing the same outfits in the pictures as I was in the previous year's pics.:goodvibes

So.. chonies. I think that must be a SoCal thing. (The term, not the wearing of them;)) - I think I've heard it from my cuz from Huntington Beach. Tell me you are not still sporting the same ones from the China pics?! Those were definitely on their last legs!:lmao:

I expect to be talking about shoes for awhile...;)

It's certainly beginning to look that way... :sad2:

I'm in your camp, Jordan. Really have never loved shopping, want to get in, find it and get out. All this browsing frustrates me!

Except at a place like Michaels or Hobby Lobby...:rolleyes1
