We’re now on Friday, Feb. 13th and here are some hints:
- today’s park is reminiscent of the happiest place on earth
- you’ll need some pretty “out of this world” sunglasses to dine at this lunchtime establishment
- the evening finds us at a very familiar park… we visit this often every trip…. It’s like the “motherland” to us.
- dinner is sure to be “oishi desu” and filled with action

Sorry folks - I must have miscounted... I think we're still on round 8 of questions (or 9, if you counted Jordan's first set). My bad (didn't mean to alarm you in thinking you missed two days!)... also I got out of sync since we skipped a couple days.

Wendy again: Ok, hopefully now I have all my days and rounds straight. I redid the first post so hopefully the titles to the chapters are correct now. Crazy.

Here are the answers to round 9 of questions.

What park will I be at during the day?
Of course, the place closest to “the happiest place on earth” (AKA Disneyland) would be Magic Kingdom

Where will I eat for lunch?
The bright out of the world place to dine would be Cosmic Rays (Get it? Rays? Shades? Sunglasses? Get it? Hee hee hee.)

What park will I be at in the evening?
Our most often visited park each trip is Epcot (the motherland being World Showcase – Japan)

Where will I eat for dinner?
”oishi desu” means “tasty, yes?” (I think – my Japanese is pretty bad) which can only mean Teppan Edo (the action being the teppanyaki chef flipping our food around).

Bonus:
1) Name the classic argument of 2003 between Derek and Jordan
The “One where Jordan failed to get consensus” (or I’ll also take the “Derek reads him the riot act”)

2) Name the classic argument of 2001 between Wendy and Jordan
The “One with Wendy’s day o’ silence” where Jordan offends Wendy the day before and so she shuns him for a day.

Now on to set 10 of questions.

We’re now on Sunday, Feb. 14th and here are some hints:
- today’s park has lights and action, a dream and a voyage, a couple of big ears and a dino.
- this quick eatery is in an authentic L.A. location (according to one of the apartment building facades in Jordan’s pictures… he took it because there really is this place in L.A. and he loves authenticity).
- tonight’s park is “same bat time, same bat channel…” – can we ever get enough of this place?
- the name of this dinner café is very apropos to the state of Florida, while still paying homage to the cultural background of this eatery. And I think the only people who have ever eaten here on a Jordan/Wendy/Derek trip have been Josh and Joanne.

Wendy: Jordan’s still down with the swine flu (hopefully not) so here I am again before I set down to fill out paperwork for Dylan’s preschool. I am NOT ready for school to start again. Sigh.

Here are the answers to round 10 of questions.

What park will I be at during the day?
Today we are visiting DHS! Impressed that you all didn’t get thrown by the “dino” reference (meaning the big dino in the lake and not Animal Kingdom). I’m losing my touch. Ha ha.

Where will I eat for lunch?
The key was “quick” for service… and kudos for you who got the Echo Lake reference. However, I might have made a boo boo – the answer was Backlot Express (which on some website said was in the Echo Park area) but I think it might have been further back. So I did give points (at least some) for the Echo Park eateries. But good for you who got the Backlot Express answer!

What park will I be at in the evening?
Again, the oft visited park – Epcot is where the evening will find Jordan

Where will I eat for dinner?
Tangierine Café of course! The Florida oranges reference... very good to those who got that! And J&J were the only ones who ate here last time.

Bonus:
1) Name one of the places the kids did a series of their famous “emotion” shots
Either Animal Kingdom (on the Maharajah Jungle Trek) or DHS/50’s Prime Time Café (there was also Hurricane Hanna’s but I don’t think we were able to post pictures of that series – so if someone had gotten that they would have gotten big bonus points for their psychic abilities… ha ha ha)

2) Name the Disney character that Jordan referred to as “oddly large” and “unusually weird looking”
This would be Piglet, at the Character Meet in AK (where we had pretty good character mojo). Because he’s “life size” and the same size as the other characters, he looks unusually strange and large for Piglet.

Now on to set 11 of questions.

We’re now on Monday, Feb. 15th and here are some hints:
- Jordan needs to go here on his first day alone after the masses depart so he can be “lazy”
- this lunch place is a repeat from before (so if you get the park right, you’ll get this answer right)
- it’s time to get “jiggy” tonight and drink it up like the locals do – hope he doesn’t turn “green” after drinking too much

The place for Jordan to relax is on the “lazy river” of Castaway Creek…. namely, Typhoon Lagoon.

Where will I eat for lunch?
So of course, he’d be dining at Leaning Palms (is there any other place? You’d think not.).

What park will I be at in the evening?
Tonight he’ll be visiting DTD

Where will I eat for dinner?
The (Irish) jiggy place for him to have libations and greenery is none other than DTD’s Raglan Road (didn’t you see the shamrock?)

1) What body part does Erin have trouble controlling in pictures and where does it go?
I did make it a little more challenging in not saying “character pictures” but congrats to you who remember Erin’s left hand somehow has nowhere to go except on the b**b area of the princesses. Good thing she’s cute or she’d probably be arrested.

We’re now on Tuesday, Feb. 16th and here are some hints:
- today’s park has a real nostalgic feel to it
- Jordan must be hungry because he’s going beyond infinity for some food
- tonight he’ll be strolling, maybe doing a little dancing and definitely some rolling (I think I’m hungry for peanut butter and…)
- let’s try something NEW for dinner! But wait, *is* this Mediterranean? Derek? Is it?

Chapter 22.Life Update.

Thanks for all of you that have hung in there! I've been really sick for the past week. I never got tested, but know several folks who got sick at camp that did and tested positive for the swine flu. It's not all that different from the regular flu, but it does cause extreme fatigue in certain cases...I had 103 temp and am still dealing with a nasty cough.

Camp was awesome. Here are some pix. A technique that you will probably see in the 2010 version of my TR....it's called photo shoot. You take 4 or 5 pix right in a row changing "poses" every picture....Here are some samples:

I was Co-director for 100 High Schoolers. For one of the speaker's messages, he taught a few of the high schoolers how to cut hair---my hair:
