Chapter 93. Wednesday, February 13th. Day 14. It's time.
That's right....I've come to the end of my TR...the last day....feels weird after 15 months. I still feel a bit of sadness in having to write this final chapter. If you take a trip back..all the way back to the start of my PTR in August 07. I had experienced 7 deaths of friends of family members/friends in 07. It was my SIL's sudden death at the age of 52 that affected me the most. Writing my PTR was a way to work through the pain of all the loss I was experiencing at that time.
Well it's seems only fitting that a week before the 2 year anniversary of my SILs death, I should be writing the conclusion of of my TR. While I continue to miss my SIL, I can't imagine what my life would be without my friends here on the DIS. I have a great support system here at home with friends and family who I can count on; however, it was during those dark months of 2007 and early 2008 that my time on the DIS helped me laugh a little (actually alot) and helped me find a bit of escape from the harsh reality that life sometimes deals us.
So I just have to say from the bottom of my Asian heart...THANK YOU.

I love you guys and thank you for sticking around. Sorry crying a little.....you really don't know how much you helped me.
Okay....last day...and then onto my PTR for 2010 and 2012.
So being my usual self I had pretty much packed the night before. Set out my clothes for the last day. I was good to go.
I planned to wake up around 7:30am to make the most of my day, but ended up getting up around 8:45am instead. I did express checkout and rolled my bags over to airline check in...and I knew my vacation was over...the line was about 45 minutes long.
I was through at about 10:15 and made a beeline to DHS.
Right as the bus arrived at the Studios, it began to pour. I had no poncho. I had no umbrella. Many people huddled under the bus stop to wait it out, but a few of us made a run for it and kind of hopscotched from overhang to overhang and by the time we made it to the entrance it had stopped raining.
I had only a few things to do at DHS. Ride TOT and RNRC and buy snickerdoodle cookies at Pizza Planet to send to Leyla (pierresgirl)
I rode Tot and then did RnRC. I walked over to Pizza Planet to get the snickerdoodles...
and I ran into a Dream Team Member. Only the 2nd one I saw in the ENTIRE 14 days I was there....
Go figure.
I made my way out of DHS...one last look at the Hat:
On my way to the exit:
I took the Friendship boats and ferried over to Epcot's World Showcase:
One more time entering from the International Gateway:
I had a mission to see American Adventure as I hadn't seen it yet. However, I had to stop and use the restrooms between France and Morocco and look who I ran into:
BlueyedGirl:
We chatted for a bit and I went to the motherland and took some more pix:
My last Peeps shot of the trip and in the Japan Pavilion of all places:
This restroom is near the Yakatori House in the Japan Pavilion. I don't think it's been updated in over 25 years. It's too small and something is wrong with the pipes..it smells....quintuple flush.....
I had plenty of time til the next showing of the American Adventure so I took the time to see the Fife and Drum Corps and the Voices of Liberty.
I took some pics of the World Showcase...goodbye World Showcase:
I took some parting pix of Future World:
And it was back to Pop to catch ME back to the airport.
