Hi Jordan, this is my first time to ever reply to a trip report. I have been reading your many reports for over three months and am finally caught up to date. I started at this PTR and had to backtrack to fully understand you, your family, and all your fellow Disers. What an interesting and crazy read it has been. I wanted to write to you so often, but I was always a few months or even years behind. As you can see I am very computer illiterate and am trying to figure out as I go. Thanks for the many hours of laughter, as well as every other emotion everyone involved here feels following along on your journey. I will continue along hopefully being able to post and learn along the way. Have a fABULOUS TRIP!

Hi all,

Well Jordan must be having too much fun since he hasn't posted yet but we are all here finally and settling in for the night (well, I don't know about Jordan - last I saw he was heading out to the MK I think).

Anyway - I'll let Jordan tell his tales, but we took off this a.m. in POURING RAIN but got off on time... flight was relatively uneventful... Dylan slept THE WHOLE TIME but Ashlyn only slept 45 minutes... however was fairly well behaved most of the flight. Shocker. Erin was good pretty much the whole flight (she and DH sat together, I had the other two) since she had her Nintendo and notebooks.

Arrived in Orlando pretty much on time, got a little bite to eat for the ride on the bus, and then check into Magical Express. Erin made some friends on the bus ride (another shocker - ha - kidding) and was "texting" via Pictochat on the Nintendo (who knew you could do that?). Goodness, am I ALREADY going to have to have a talk about texting? Eeeeesh.

Anyway - got to BLT around 6pm and then Jordan (and DIS crew) were eating at the Wave so he came out to see us and then they were going to come up after dinner. So we headed up to our room to settle in... love the accomodations - very cool - kind of a combo between a Westin and the W hotels. We unpacked, put away our garden grocer order, and got ready for the DIScrew to join us. Rosie, Cherie and DH, Cherie and DH and DS and Jordan all joined us later and all the kids had a ball playing together... it was really fun.

After they left, we got back to settling in and then GirlNextDoor (aka Kim and Allan) finally arrived around 11pm after being delayed by weather (as it turns out, not even weather related in their airport but apparently their plane never arrived because of OTHER weather or something... anyway, they were able to book another flight and arrive tonight... better late than never. So after chatting for a bit and trying to calm the kids down again, we are all settling down for a long winter's nap... oh wait, wrong story.

Tomorrow... off to Epcot and the start of some wild and crazy times... hang on tight!

Thanks! and just FYI, we are ALREADY off our itinerary... ha ha ha. It's 9:35am and we're supposed to be at Epcot at 10am and pretty much no one is up. Ha ha ha ha. Jordan's up and running so I guess we'll just meet up with him after we can all get up and have breakfast... but for us WCer (west coasters), it IS still 6:30am... ha ha. I do hear Kim/Allan up though... so maybe we'll start getting everyone up... ha ha.

Ta ta! Off to start our day of fun and merriment! (let the Parks beware... be afraid, be very afraid... )

well, sorta.

i texted jordan this morning because i had a dream about him and the rest of the dissers there right now and i had to tell him about it. i dreamed i was at a church function (i'm assuming jordan's church) and i was sitting in an auditorium with winkers, d.jay, blueyed girl, rosie and wendy and then jordan came out on stage dressed as captain jack sparrow and was playing a violin!

anyway, just got a text back from jordan that said:

i was waiting for mission space when i got your text. imagine chuckling in a line by yourself. at least you were in church and at least i had talent.



i told him to have fun and try not to hurl.

tell me about it! no, nothing crazy. i had pasta for dinner and no sardines! maybe it was the combonation of getting that group picture before bed and the fact that erica (vandyfan10) and i were chatting on facebook right before i went to bed and we were talking about the geico commercial with charlie daniels playing the fiddle.

Thank you so much for welcoming me. I was so excited to see this and i know how special the people are on this thread just from reading along with you all. i am hopefully going this fall but have not finalized the dates yet.
