I was going for comfortable, but hey if all of a sudden 10 women at fawning over my shoes...hey it's all good.

It's the first pair of shoes I've purchased in maybe 7-8 years. I must say, it felt kinda good.

oh, my goodness. you don't even want to know how many pairs of shoes i've bought over the last 7-8 years. i would guesstimate over 300.

nice shoes, though. good choice.

EDIT: Uncle update. Well the good news is I was misinformed about my uncle. He does not have cancer in his one remaining kidney. This info was good to hear. However, there is a new tumor in the area where his other kidney used to be. As stated before, surgery is not an option at this point. He will begin 4 rounds of chemo over the next 3-4 months. I don't believe this will affect the vacation unless my uncle were to take a turn for the worse over the next few weeks. Thanks again for all your support. Love you guys!

i'm sorry to hear that they found a tumor and that he has to do chemo, but glad to know that it's not in a new area. i hope the treatments get it cleared up soon.

Thanks for the info. I've been toying with getting the fridge, but since I'm solo at Pop, I don't know if I'll need it. I usually do the redneck thing and fill an ice bucket with ice and put 2-3 beers in there at a time.

Jordan I have gotten into the fridge swaps before and they are great when we all go but for just me the hassle of this li'l ol' lady strugling to get it back in the box is tooooo much!!!The same swapI was in did have one but I think it is taken now !!

All the sports chat is scaring me!!!

I went to the mall yesterday for an exchange. It reminded me why I've become an almost exclusive online only shopper.

4 hours later...I exchanged one sweater and have a measly store credit I will be hard pressed to use without spending more and there isn't anything I want.

Of course what I was exchanging had been purchased online so sometimes you do have to go try things on but I have NEVER seen so many ugly and overpriced clothes in my life.

It did curb any cravings I was having for new stuff for the Cal trip!

At least you didn't come back with purple crocs. I have to give you a pass...after all I included the quest for the quacker wrappers on my PTR. Your new shoes are actually are pretty slick. We need to get you some boots though. They'd go well with the cargo shorts.

Chapter 68. Shoes-need I say more?

Oops. Needed 2 pairs of shoes. I went to the closest mall. The store is called Off Broadway-which has name brand shoes for less. It's a huge store and I was the ONLY person in there shopping-gotta love having Mondays off. I looked and looked for a specific type of shoe and was having no luck until I went down the back aisle and I found them...angels sang; the spotlight flipped on the shoes, and the other lights went dim....THERE THEY WERE.

I LOVE those! I'm jealous of your heavenly shoe reveal moment. I've been shopping online but too afraid of commitment without a test drive first. Going to try the stores again this week I hope.

Jeans shopping isn't easy. I'm looking for something very specific and haven't found it yet.

Shopping is overrated and exhausting. The only upside is usually you walk away with something you want. I should emphasize usually.....

I will probably buy my shirts online.
