Pedestrian entrances?

just posting a question to help out somebody on another thread who is trying to figure out which way to walk into the park from a hotel on s. disneyland drive.

can anyone tell me if there is a pedestrian entrance on ball road?

No, unfortunately not. The only entrance from the north side is Disneyland drive going to the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

well, that would probably work perfectly for this person so long as it's possible to walk in that entrance? i have only driven in myself, and on Google Earth i don't see any sidewalks that lead to the tram loading area.

Can pedestrians walk right in through the parking structure?

Yeah you could walk it--there's reviews on trip advisor of people who have stayed at various places on Ball, apparently you cross at the cross street a little past that gas station and stay on the right side although I don't think there's much to walk on at a certain point. You get to the Mickey and friends parking structure where you go up an elevator and then the tram will take you to the entrance. Not sure about that- you could do the google map thing and walk it--I did that and decided that was further than we wanted to walk. It seems some people are smart enough to figure that out that route, then there are some that aren't...
