Pecos Bill's Better Than Ever

We went to Pecos Bill's last week and were pleasantly surprised with the additions to the fixin's bar. I remember the last time we were there cheese sauce was no longer available. Well, that is back plus more. They have shredded cheddar cheese now amongst the offerings of shredded lettuce, sauteed mushrooms and onions, etc. It was a great surprise!

Pecos Bills is by far my family's favorite counter service meal!

We're eating at Kona Cafe before heading into MVMCP this year, so I don't know if we'll hit it for lunch another day or not.

Yeah!! I am glad the cheese sauce is back! We like Pecos Bill's. I am sad though because it is closed for refurbs when we go this coming Jan. But, it is good to hear the fixins bar is loaded!

Sounds great!! I hope this place is still as good when we go back in July 2010! When we went to MK in July we ate at Cosmic Ray's, which we loved (also a great fixin bar with delicious sauteed mushrooms). The other MK day we ate lunch at Pop Century since we had just arrived and it was time for the boys to eat, then we headed to the park. Next time we definitely want to go back to Cosmic Ray's, but we will have 2 FULL days at MK this time, so Peco's Bill will probably be the other lunch at MK! Thanks for the info!

Yay for cheese sauce! Anyone know if its back at Cosmic Ray's too? We used to frequent Pecos Bills but switched to Ray's as my kids have become more selective eaters.

There is nothing posted or announced that I can find of PB being closed for refurbishment.

As far as desserts go, they have the basics like the other CS places. Small, pre-made cakes, etc. There's never any room for dessert at this place though!

Yes, there was cheese sauce at Cosmic Ray's last week, but not many people saw it.

All of the cheese sauce is VERY hot when it comes out of the dispenser, I used three cups stacked together to carry it back to my table:

I had to as well. It was extraordinarily hot in those little paper cups, but did not burn my mouth or tongue when eating.
