Hello all! Hoping some of you have experience in eating from the F&W kiosks with food allergies. Disney is the absolute safest place I feel for eating with my DD4 who has nut allergies. We will be enjoying food and wine for the first time and although she's not an adventurous eater, there may be some things she would try. I need to know if there is any allergen information available for the kiosks? I don't think I trust asking the people working there as it is such a temporary thing! Can anyone speak to this problem? Thank you so much for any help!

I also have nut allergies and also lemon which can be difficult. I always "prep" myself by looking at allears.net and Disney dining. Sometimes the description or pictures help, sometimes not. I always ask at the kiosks, I trust them. If they do not have binders they will radio the chefs. This happened last year at one spot where the sauce was questionable. The radio conversation was done in front of me and all seemed good with my choice until the last ingredient of the base was read and you can here the chef yell "Take it away". I was impressed. And had my snack with no sauce. Also my DH and DD are my taste testers if I am uncertain, they have had much practice over the years.

I wish I could be more helpful but maybe this helps you a little bit.

Very few baked items and desserts are going to be safe. We do allow soft serve ice cream but not everyone does. He being non-adventurous is to your advantage. She will not want the majority of the items in the food and wine festival. I still think that they will have binders for the foods but I do not know that for a fact. I would carry any sweet treats you want her to have, and check to see if you are ok with the soft serve ice cream if you want. You could get her some safe nuggets or something to nibble on as you make your way around. We found we spend a lot less time in the WS when we have young kids with us anyway so if may end up less an issue than you think.

I have many allergies and was told (3 years ago- the last time we did F&W) that though something may not have ingredients that I'm allergic to, cross contamination is a consideration. So if that is a problem for you, you may want to be extra cautious. I found that stopping in the festival center headquarters was the best way to get solid information. If I remember correctly, they were able to give me ingredients for the foods at the stands. This year I plan to grab some food at Sunshine seasons and wrap it up to go so I can enjoy food with DH as he strolls through the F&W stands. Hope you have fun!

They do have binders but they cook in a massive kitchen setting where cross contam is a strong possibility so if it's a nut allergy it is usually best to avoid. The only thing I felt safe with was one of the alchol slushes sold at a booth with no nut ingredients. Also just FYI the new crossant-donut in Epcot is NOT nut safe either and I think everything in the German caramel shop had a cross contam warning. The America area has a slushie drink and soft serve which she might like. Epcot is tough because all the countries have cool candies but most either have incomplete ingredient info or a nut warning.

This will be our first F&W with our PA DD4, but our 3rd trip to WDW since the diagnosis. My advice is to enjoy yourself! If your Dd expresses interest in sampling something, visit one of the many established kiosks and/or quick services and get your DD something from there instead. We LOVE Disney for food allergies. You will leave very jealous and wanting for your hometown to offer the same level of hospitality (and menu knowledge).

Also, Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavilion has several nut free products you can purchase and take with you!
