Peanut Butter

Do you put it in the refrigerator or in the cabinet after you open it? I think anything open should go in the refrigerator, but DH insists on putting it in the cabinet so it spreads easier. Same for maple syrup.

What do you guys do?

I buy only natural peanut butter now and it says to refridgerate it. When I bought the other stuff (Jif, etc) it was in the pantry. My husband likes real maple syrup and keeps it in the fridge. I only like the fake stuff and keep that in the pantry.

I prefer to keep it in the pantry, but since we have ants SO bad in our area, I keep it in the fridge. I leave it out for a while before making sandwiches, though....easier to spread!

PB is in the pantry (and it's Smuckers Natural PB, no where does it say it has to be refrigerated, looking at the jar right now). Maple Syrup in in the fridge.

Ketchup and mustard in the pantry? Does it keep well after opening. I HATE cold mustard I always assumed that after opening it, it had to go in the fridge.
