Peak to Value Pricing

If we want to book a vacation from 12/31/07 thru 1/5/08, will I have to pay the peak prices for the entire vacation? Am I better off going a day later when the rates go to value on 1/1?

I would book for a day, then book the rest and make it 2 seperate ressies.

Yes, do a room only and then book your package to start on the 1st.

Yes, the rate on your check-in date is the rate in effect for your entire stay. I'd make 2 seperate reservations or do what we need in the exact same time period... We got a cheap off-site room on Dec 31 and then moved on-site on Jan 1.
