How do I change the search engine on BA website to PE on return flight. Looking to go out on EC but PE on return. Do not see any options to do this.

It gives you an option to pay extra for each journey and/or both PE once you have picked your flights, think the price comes up in red?

I don't know, but I just wanted to say that we upgraded at the airport for our return trip last December and actually I wish we hadn't bothered. The PE seats have fixed armrests and the recline is not much more than economy (on our flight). Because it was a very quiet flight, if we had stayed back in economy where we could have spread out, put the armrests up and laid down flat on a row of seats each. However, I appreciate that if the flight had been full this couldn't have happened anyway, but we learned our lesson!

Just a thought for you!

Pam

If you just choose Economy when you click through it gives you prices for all 3 classes :thumbsup2

Its working out cheaper if I add the car at the beginning, but the flights are for EC and I do not see for PE anywhere for the return. I can get PE if I only do flight only.

We just upgraded at the airport - £199 each.

Personally I think it's worth it - the headrests are good and the seats are much roomier than economy so easier to get comfortable. You still won't get much sleep though :)

Sorry we are doing PE both ways so I don't know about booking with car. As I didn't really look at it.

Just checked the flight we are looking at for May and its £135 to upgrade for the return leg, I might well think about it as we were stuck in the middle last year, same flight and it was most uncomfortable.

That's the cheapest upgrade price I think I've ever seen! Go for it :)

It's probably worth calling them to do it as part of the package. They might add a service charge though but you could try and argue that it's impossible to get the package you want on the site.

I booked flydrive with BA for next March and upgraded the return leg to PE. I couldn't do it online so I had to phone them but I didn't pay any admin fee to change the return leg and the additional cost was just over £100 per person so well worth it. I didn't even have to pay an additional deposit, they just added it to my outstanding balance.
