Okay sooo Today was Pdlc which stands for Plano Drumline Competition.

Well my drumline went today And it was absolutely amazing.
My drumline placed 2nd in our division and were awarded the Best Front Ensemble caption award.
The Caption award was a huge deal for me, considering the fact that i'm in the front ensemble. Getting second was equally amazing.
The anticipation as they were calling the awards was unreal.
i was sitting in between two of my friends and i all three of us were squeezing each others hands so hard. lol. and when they finally called out our name we went crazy. i was Shaking for at least 5 minutes after that. I'm just so incredibly proud to be on our drumline. Our drumline is like one big family.(bickering included) lol. I just had to come and tell you guys about today. i couldn't have asked for a better day.

And to give this thread more of a point.
Have any of you had similar experiences?
if so what were they?

oh and if i can find a video of our performance i'll post it For Suree. :]

Congrats! My HS's drumline was there, and I think I heard they got first overall... but I'm not sure. I don't really pay attention to stuff going on in my high school anymore

But seriously, congrats! I know how that Plano contest is a big deal.

And yea! i didn't actually get to watch them but, obviously they did good. lol

yeaa...it's pretty intense.
Lonestar is next....that's like double the intensity of pdlc.
I'm excited. :] lol
