I just booked this breakfast for our trip. Has anyone tried it yet? How is the food and what characters did you see? We ahev done GK for Beakfast before and really enjoyed it. The PCH seems to have a pretty neat menu.
We enjoyed Mickey and Friends breakfast. It seemed to be the usual Disneyland breakfast buffet fare with the made to order omelette (YUM)
Characters were fun! We LOVE Stitch, he is a classic, he jumped in front of my camera once when I was taking a photo of Pluto and my son, so I have a photo of Stitches hand. Mickey is obviously there, but he doesn't wander around, you have your photo taken with him when you arrive. We saw Mickey of course, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto and Stitch and I feel like I am forgetting somebody but not sure, maybe it's because we went on the last day when Lilo was there, then again a few days later when it was Mickey and Friends.
Thanks! We are stating at PPH and thought it would be easier to go there. We usually stay at the DLH. When I called Disney Dining there plenty of openings between 3/15-3/19. Since this is Spring Break, I though I would ahev a difficult time getting ressies anywhere. So I was worried that it wasn't a well liked meal.
There were also plenty of openings for the Blue Bayou that week, dinner and lunch. Usually I have a harder time booking meals there.
The new format is really fun. We hated the Lilo and Stitch one here. The kids get up and hoola hoop, surf, dance...its a lot of fun for them. The food was pretty good. The bill for our family of 4 was $115, including the premium discount.
We went on the second or third day of the new format (in December) and our entire family really enjoyed the meal and the character interaction. I thought the food was good (not outstanding, but it is a buffet) and the activities for the kids kept them entertained on a very rainy morning when we didn't feel the need to rush to the parks.
