I know that this topic is one that most cruisers don't like to think about, but I have to ask-What is the earliest possible time that we could be off the ship when we return to Port Canaveral? I'm sure that we'll be in no hurry to want to leave, but we'll be heading to WDW afterwards, so I'm just trying to plan that portion of our trip, and of course we'd like to make it there as early as possible! Going to Disney World is about the only thing that could make me excited about getting off the ship!

The only honest answer to this is "it varies." When the ship comes into port, it comes under the authority of the US Customs service. No one can get off until US Customs has cleared the ship.

On our cruise last week, the announcement came between 8:20 and 8:25. It is usually around 8. I've seen it as early as 7:30 and as late as 9:15.

7.35am is the earliest i have been off, (twice) I have made Polynesian by 8.45am and MK at 9.30am. I have also had too delayed, disembarkations at 8.20am

When we cruised in Dec. 08, we skipped our breakfast time and headed off the ship. Smooth sailing through customes and we were on the road by 8:30 a.m.
