PBH this Summer, many ??????

I booked a deluxe pool view room at the PBH using the Entertainment Rate for 5 nights. The room is 180.00+tax which comes to 200.70 per night or 1003.50 for the 5 night total. Our stay will be from June30-July5th. We stayed here several years ago and had bought a pkg. deal through Universal and going back this time we decided to buy the components separately because the room rate alone was fantastic!! Now having said all that, what has changed over the last 3 years that we didn't experience before? What's not to be missed? We requested a smoking room overlooking the quiet pool. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we should be requesting? Please keep in mind that although we have went to WDW several times, we have only been here once. Any tips or suggestions would greatly be appreciated!! Thanks, Chip.

You mention the quiet pool and I'm guessing you mean the Villa Pool. Since they have 3 pools you may want to make sure its not the Hillside pool on the East end of the property (although I dont think there are deluxe rooms in that area anyway). I'm going next week with the same room type so I will post back with anything new for you. I know when I called they mentioned an updated gameroom with pool tables and something about an area in the lobby where you can get drinks (Iced tea and lemon aide I think).

You may want to consider renting a cabana one day while there and since you are going over a holiday if you do, you may want to reserve that now.

Are you already a Loews member? If not you can join at www.loewshotels.com and make sure you call and add it to your reservation. It will give you some nice perks.

The only other thing I can think of is there are a few deluxe rooms ground level with patios and they are really nice with french doors that open up onto it.

Anything else you can think of just ask.
