I just want to tell you guys about my experience with my PBH reservation (so far). I made my reservation on 1/3. I used the supersaver rate that is on the universal web site. I got the rate putting in my dates April 7-13, which is spring break, so I wasnt just asking for the rate, its what came up. I am Loews Gold, so I wanted the automatic upgrade, so I called and made the reservation thru Loews, who transferred me to PBH reservations. They gave it to me, an upgrade from garden view to deluxe, for 341$ the first 5 nights and 271$ the last night. I am stoked!

Fast forward 2 weeks, and I still havent gotten my email confirmation. I dont think I'm totally paranoid, but I want a confirmation , just in case, because of both the rate and the upgrade. So I call back Loews, get transferred again, give them my conf. number and they look it up and say , yes, I am confirmed with the above info, and they will re-send the email. okie dokie.

Now today, I still havent received the email, and today I get my credit card bill. I have been charged the full rate , seasonal with no discount , for the deluxe room. 498$. Since I am supposed to be charged for one night plus taxes, and its obvious that that is the charge for the deluxe room with no discount, I am worried that my reservation has been screwed up. Wouldnt you be?

So I call Loews, they transfer me again, and I talk to a little girl. I know thats rude, forgive me. I give her my confirmation number and she starts giving me entirely random rates back. This gets me a little frustrated. She says thats how they do it. I dont care. She cant comprehend what I am saying, that I have been charged the full rate for the upgraded room. She says they dont do the charges. She says she knows what she is doing and I am not being that nice to her.:rotfl2:

I ask to speak to someone else, and get transferred to Tanya. Tanya understands what I am saying and is trying to fix it. I get cut off after about 15 mins of working on it with her. I call back. I dont get Tanya. I ask for Tanya, please. Nope, they have no way to get back to Tanya. :rotfl: OK.. I start over with a guy whose name I didnt catch. Viola, he fixes it! He explained that they had charged the wrong amount, but assures me that I am booked at the correct rate. He offers to do a credit to my charge card, but I dont really need that, I just wanted assurance that I am showing the correct credit on my account. And that I am in the correct room. And he resent the confirmation email. I got it tonite! Yay!

I am not posting this to complain, I am just letting people know that they may need to be diligent in getting the correct answers, and try not to get too frustrated until they do!

Sorry about your experience. I would call again (relax for a few days) and give them your e-mail address. Then ask that someone e-mail you with the type of room you have reserved, the rate for your room, and the amount they have already charged your card.

I have done this a few times. I would also print out my credit card statment showing the amont they have charged.

You asked to speak to her Mommy didn't you? I hear ya with their reservation department. Its more than a little frustrating at times. Glad you got it all straightened out. At least until you check-in. :rotfl:

Exactly!:rotfl2: Believe me I'm taking all my proof with me this time!

When I asked for an email confirmation they said they had to get a supervisor to okay it. I don't know why but that is what they said. I got the email a few days later.
