PBH club level vs RPR club level

I heard that RPR club level is better than PBH club level because of the service and food selections. Is this true? Anyone stayed at both?

We were ar RPH last summer and at PBH earlier this month. The club level rooms at RPH are on the same floor as the club lounge itself, which is very convenient - at PBH the lounge is on the main level (3) but club rooms are on a variety of floors so you may have some distance to walk to the lounge. The main difference in the food is that the 5-7PM offerings at PBH are Italian-themes, so lots of cheese, meats, roasted veggies, antipasto, etc. Otherwise, the breakfasts and evening snacks are pretty much the same at both hotels. I communicated by email with the concierge in the club lounge at PBH prior to our check-in, so she was extremely helpful in making every aspect of our stay perfect. As I recall the staff at RPH was helpful, also.

Thanks Irauers. This helps alot. I can see there are differences in PBH and RPR club level! Doesn't look as if one is better than the other. I guess it depends on what you're looking for in club level.

I searched for a thread like this because I have the same thoughts. Who has stayed at both and what where the pros and cons of each?
Can you compare costs?
Which was your favorite and why?

I've done both and I think lrauers pretty much nails it. Although I prefer PBH overall as a hotel, I actually think the Club Level at RPR is the most successful of the bunch. It has to do with layout and space more than anything else (although the PBH club lounge is very roomy).

My guess is that any differences in food are going to be minor. The food staffs at all these hotels are very good indeed and if there's a problem on any given day, it's probably just a temporary glitch. We all have our off days.

Another thing about the PBH lounge that may or may not bother you: Because of its location, non-Club Level guests can look in and some may actually try to enter (innocently or not). Because of this, you have to prove your eligibility (at least until the staff gets to know you by sight). It's a minor annoyance. At the other hotels, of course, the mere fact that you're on the Club floor means you're okay.

RPR club is my fave. All the rooms are on the club floor and the lounge is in the middle of the floor so no room is a long walk. The lounge is spacious with two tvs and a bathroom. The staff is great as well.

Having stayed at both several times, I completely agree with Kelly.
I do however prefer RPR due to the location of the club lounge.
We usually can't book too far in advance and RPR can be sold out quicker them PBH, so that's why we end up at PBH sometimes.

Hi, believe me I know what you mean........We tried to get a friend to stay at the RPR with us the end of July and they were full, so she got a nice room over at PBH. We're thinking about doing PBH club for Christmas because we enjoy Italian food.

I see you're leaving on the Valor in a couple of days. We were just on the Miracle in May and it was wonderful and it is truly the funship!! :)

Doing Royal Caribbean June 06 to compare with Carnival.

Enjoy your cruise!!! :flower:
