PBH and Christmas/NYE info inside

I just got off the phone with the concierge at the PBH and got a small amount of new info for us. I will have a ton more tomorrow she is faxing me out 6 flyers worth of info with EVERY detail of resturants and menus ect... on them and all the happening's, which she said there was something going on all during the day! Unfortunely my fax is at work and I wont' get it until tomorrow when I get there.

Heres' what I know for sure. There are fireworks that will go off every night (not sure the starting dates until I get the flyers) promtply at 9p.m. She did reconfirm the best viewing from the hotel was at the Beach Pool for this. Also each resturant at the hotel will offer a special Chef's Menu to be served on NYE with a reservation strongly suggested and must be held with a cc even if your an onsite guest. She is faxing me complete menu's out. She stated that the Grinch would be on hand for story telling and provide free cookies and milk to the kids. With a chasing to insue of the kids after the reading>LOL I have been told by another employee that an orchaster(sp) will be on hand at the piazza starting at 9p.m playing until after midnight on NYE. I'm giddy with excitement to read all the fun stuff. Please let me know if you have any thing specfic you'd like me to post or have questions about. I will definetly post all the details of the fax I recieve tomorrow.

My family of five will be at PBH the same time as your family. I was just wondering if you have received any additional info. from the concierge about what activities are planned, etc.

Yes I did. Unfortuneley I left it all at work>LOL I'll get my husband to bring it home tomorrow for me though. There's tons of fun stuff planned I can't wait! There looks like things going on constantly at the hotel and citywalk and the parks. I'm so excited.

We are contemplating our New Year's Eve dinner plans. Any suggestions for places to dine??

I suggest to you Mama Della's. We are eating there for NYE. Can't wait. I'll call my husband and ask him to bring home my faxes. I have been so busy with christmas shopping and work I forgot to get them AGAIN. I'll get them and post the menu for you. It'll be a chef's menu for that night only. Ressie's strongly recommend by concierge. It is kid friendly although we wont be dining w/ our kids that night. We'll taken them to eat in the parks or order from flippers pizza that night. We are taking our nanny so we'll have nights out after they turn in.

Sounds like a great time Party of six! I'm so jealous! I wish I was going to be at PBH instead of Disney for NYE. Toast me while you're there.
BTW, did you hear they are bringing concierge back to PBH, it will be in the villa section with a small lounge & a small group of rooms like RP. They are also renovating the lobby area. I personally thought it was nice the way it was.

407-521-0607 is the # for flippers pizza. Great food. The pasta's are wonderful!

CPM: No I did'nt hear that. When is that suppose to happen? I can't believe they would be improving the lobby. I thought it was spectalular the way it is.

They hope to have it done by Feb. As far as the lobby, it will now be more of a *match* to the rest of the resort. I loved it too! It was have the blues or that beautiful chandelier. They are trying to get their 5 star rating this year. It will go back to the way it started with them answering the phone with chaio and the more Italian feeling. Maybe they will offer some great intro rates for us to try it!

Thanks for the suggestion for Dinner. We will definitely go to Mama Della's one night. Have you dined at Delfino Riviera. Thinking we might try that without the kids on NYE. Thanks for your help!
