So, I have been thinking about starting a PTR since I booked my trip to WDW. My friend in my office and fellow DISer, Rachael, has been encouraging me to start one since then as well. So here goes
.
Here is the cast:
ME- My name is Lindsay and I am 32 years old. My daughter is a miracle child and my world. I have not been to WDW for 20 years, my last trip being when I was 12 with my parents and brother. We stayed at CBR and I loved it! My previous trips were with my wonderful aunt and uncle that have no kids. They felt that they could not go to WDW with out kids, so my brother and I lucked in 3 times. Every time we stayed off-site. I still remember those trips though. I am an obsessive planner for any trip that we go on, so you can imagine how out of control I am right now planning this one. So, any comments or suggestions are more than welcome! I want this trip to be as perfect as possible for DD birthday and so that DH will no be able to refuse an return trip.
DH Craig is turning 39 on Aug.13th so this is a little bit of a birthday trip for him. Although, it will definitely be overshadowed by DD. This is his first trip to WDW. He did have a trip to Disneyland when he was 5yrs, but does not remember much. Boy, is he in for a shock! He still does not know what the big deal is with WDW duh .but I will bring him around.
DD (the star of the show) Payton is turning 7 on Aug 10th. This is her birthday trip. We would have liked to have spent her actual birthday in WDW, but we had to wait till after to get the free dining. She is the light of both our lives. We were told we would not be able to have kids, so she was both a surprise and a miracle. She is now completely obsessed with all things WDW and cant wait to meet Belle (her favourite).
We will be in Disney arriving August 24th and leaving August 30th. Staying at POP with Free DDP.
Pictures to follow soon....
