Paypal Question

Since yesterday all of my transactions through Paypal are coming through as pending. I have not changed my e-mail address and I have a business account. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? It is very frustratiing!

Maybe your credit card company is just reviewing for fraud -- they do it from time to time for your protection. Don't worry about it too much yet.

Are you talking about payments you have made or payments you are receiving?

If it's payments you are receiving, the payer is probably paying using an e-check or having money transferred from their checking account into their Paypal account. It should clear in a few days.

If it's payments you have made, it could be what auntpolly said and the CC company is reviewing for fraud.

It's on payments that I am recieveing. I have never had to wait this long for payments to clear. Right now, I have 11 items that are pending. It's very frustrating!

Sometimes you have to manually accept or decline payments. Are you able to do that?

If you have a personal account you may have reached your monthly $500 limit.

Update.....through the PayPal Community Board on Ebay I was able to figure out that somehow when I was listing my auctions that I left out 1 letter in my PayPal name and that threw everything off kilter. I had to open up a new e-mail address and sign up for a new Paypal account to get that money. It was a very nerve racking experience. Alls well that ends well though because I did get it fixed and got my money.
