might be a silly question but can you pay your meal with a Disney gift card? Tip too? For a table service restaurant. Or can you do a partial payment with a Disney gift card and put the rest on a debit/credit card?

We've paid for meals many times. Disney gift cards are the only form of payment we use down there. Yes, there has been times that there's only a few dollars left and they will split the payment. When we are on the dining plan we have left even just the tip on a gift card.

If you're staying onsite, it might be easier to charge everything to your room, then pay at the front desk with your gift cards. This way you don't have to carry the cards with you and you don't have to keep up with how much is on which card. You could pay daily or wait until the end of your trip.

Yes. We only use Disney gift cards when we are down there and you can pay the whole bill including tip with the card.

Certainly at all the Disney-owned restaurants at WDW. The restaurants at the Swan, Dolphin, and some at DTD (I believe) do not accept Disney gift cards.
