Payment forms at Epcot F&W booths - specifically with "gift/scrip" cards?

I presume they take cash, KTTW cards, and credit cards(?), but do the food vendor booths at Epcot F&W accept Disney "gift cards"?

Thanks!

They sure do! There has been many threads on this and it seems to be the consensus that this is the best way to pay.

If you need gift cards, they can be purchased at any Disney Store, Guest Services or at the F & W Fest Booth. They can also be recharged once funds go low.

How about the Disney Rewards card (from Disney Visa)? It say that it can used anywhere in Disney, that is what I was planning to use.

Yes, they will accept the Rewards card. The receipt they give you will show the remaining balance, too.

I was there on day 1 and they were having a terrible time swiping the gift cards though. hoprfully the kinks will be worked out.

If your concern was because it was a scrip card, don't worry. There is no way to tell the difference. I paid for everything one trip with scrip and that was when the return was still 7 %!

Will they replace Disney GC's, if they're lost? We plan to get a GC for our DS & his GF to use for snacks, etc., when they're not with us. Our DS is bad about losing things, which is why I'd rather avoid cash. :sad2: We could make a copy of the card in advance, if that would help. TIA for the info. :)

They always seem to have this problem, from what I understand on these boards. However I don't think I have ever had an issues, and I have swiped my way around the world on many occasions using my KTTW (both as a charge and for using my DDP credits) and Reward cards. It probably is just the "new" card reading machines getting up to speed.

Looking at the country booth photos, I see the food is on the Dining Plan again. Which is a great way to use up those snack credits.
