Payment For The Resort

Just receveied my confirmation from WDW for my two night stayt at The Polynesian Yay!.. Anyway, I thought all that is required for payment is the first night(for deposit) and the remainder(second night) would be paid at check out?? Or am I wrong?

That depends on if you did a package or a room only reservation.

Room only. The confirmation says i owe the remainder by a certain date, before i arrive,

If you book your reservations just before arriving, say a week or two prior, then you put your deposit down equal to one night then pay the rest upon checking in. If you book it over a month in advance, then you put down a deposit and your balance is due I think 45 days before arrival. Someone else can tell you the specific time frame, but you pay for you room upon check in.

If you booked room only, then you should only have to pay a one night deposit and you can pay the rest upon check-in.

Yep! I have room only and I paid one nights deposit and the rest is due when I check in.

Please report back with what they say.. cause under Florida law.. I dont' think they can make you pay for more than the one night deposit for room only.

Packages are different of course.

Hi. Ok I finally called and it is a computer generated mistake. I do not owe the remainder until I arrive.

Same thing happened to me last year - the confirmation letter made it look like I had to pay the balance before arriving, but when I called they said it was a computer glitch. WDW has, bar none, the worst reservation software on the planet. Bugs, bugs, bugs bugs bugsbugsbugs....
